Max Payne 3 Slips Once More, Now Due Beyond October; L.A. Noire Stays Put

"While we do not take the movement of any title lightly, our recent success with Red Dead Redemption illustrates the importance and the benefit of giving a title the time it needs in order to fulfill its potential in the marketplace," Take Two's Ben Feder addressed investors at a financial call last night
He was speaking in response to the news that Max Payne 3 would see a second delay. The game, which was originally due by October 31st, will now be pushed out of that time-frame, presumably into a window sometime in early 2011. No more details were given regarding the delay.
In more positive news, however, the long overdue L.A. Noire will not be delayed anymore, and is still hot on schedule to launch this fall alongside other Take Two published releases Mafia II and Civilization V.
