Cross-Game Chat's A Welcome Addition To The PS3, But We Don't Know Why People Wanted It In The First Place.

But will the nagging cease? No. See, as much as people want cross-game chat (enough to moan and moan in every message board we visit), they object to the idea of it being part of the PlayStation Plus package. So, you guys really want it enough to spend hours writing about it on message boards, but don't want to pay for it? Oh right. So you didn't really want it in the first place.

Cross-game chat will work as thus, while standard PlayStation Network users will be able to join chats, they will not be able to initialise them. To do this, you'll have to be a PlayStation Plus subscriber.

Sounds completely fair to us. Seeing as how Microsoft make you pay for everything, we really don't know what you're moaning about. So long as you've got at least one buddy paying for PlayStation Plus, you get your cross-game chat and free online. What's the problem?

For the record - we won't be using Cross-Game Chat. We don't get it. But, hey, more features is always good.
