It's Somewhat Difficult To Not Be Excited By This.

It's been in development for a hell of a long time and we've barely seen anything of the game yet. Having said that, what we have seen looks extremely cool. So, Square Enix man Hajime Tabata reckons the game will "exceed expectations" when it finally drops. It probably will, Tabata.

We're just wondering, with the PSP2 rumours circling around the industry just now, if this game will end up being a launch title for that system. Square Enix's Tabata also notes that “cream of the crop” at Square are working on the game. It would be a pretty huge announcement for the PSP2 if both Final Fantasy XIII: Agito (another PSP game which Tabata mentions is progressing well) and The 3rd Birthday - which is a spin-off of the Parasite Eve franchise - headed up a PSP2 launch Square Enix one-two.

Maybe we're just dreaming a bit though.
