Playstation Hardware Had A Decent Year In Japan, But As A Whole The Industry Was Down On Previous Years.

That means businesses everywhere stop talking about future endeavours, and start talking about... Past endeavours. That's right, the fiscal year has ended, specifically in Japan where publication Famitsu is reporting that the market in the East has shrunk by 0.6%.

The publication reports that while software sales were up, hardware was down.

According to Enterbrain's research, between March 30, 2009 and March 28, 2010, industry sales reached 549,060 million yen, compared to 2008’s 552,420 million.
