The problem? The Playstation Portable doesn't have enough buttons to map exactly to a DualShock - thus, the PSP can't be used as a bridge for a "portable" Playstation 3.

In principle, correcting such a problem is exactly what modder Techknott has done. He's developed a portable device with the same inputs as a Dualshock. These inputs are sent wirelessly to a Playstation 3, which then process the information and returns a video feed to the portable device. So it essentially allows Playstation 3 gaming on the move, so long as you're near a Wi-Fi point.

The problem? The device doesn't look very comfortable. Hopefully, Sony will be able to take advantage of the Remote Play functionality with the PSP2 though. It sure would be nice to play PS3 games on the move.
