SCEE are still continuing their marketing push. There's been a tremendous marketing effort from Sony worldwide since the launch of the PS3 Slim, and Uncharted 2: Among Thieves is, in many ways, Sony's crown jewel.

The British Uncharted 2: Among Thieves ad follows the theme of earlier PS3 advertising in the UK, and while we're not sure it carries the same kind of panache we'd like to see from an Uncharted 2 advert, it does a good job of playing into the marketing theme Sony already have running on TV and in magazines.

Playstation branding (and Uncharted 2 in particular) is set to pop up a lot over the next 10 weeks. Sony are sponsoring Sky One & Two Movies, aswell as the Discovery channel's adventure programming and the England World Cup Qualifier next week. Sony will also be advertising in cinemas with the release of Saw IV, Zombieland and Jennifer's Body. So obviously very relevent spots for Uncharted 2 and the Playstation 3 in general.

Exactly what impact the promotions will have remains to be seen, but it's got to be better than nothing, right?
