The Handheld Systems Are Still On Top, But Playstation 3 Looks Steady In Japan.

The system has been heavily boosted since its price drop around the world, and Sony will hope that things continue to stay that way until the expected super boost from the launch of Final Fantasy XIII in December.

The Wii and PS3 continue to get tighter, but the PS3 managed to succeed once again this week. The portables continue to dominate however, with the DSi conquering the PSP by a tidy margin.

Alas, it was good news for Naughty Dog too this week, with their admittedly Western Uncharted 2: Among Thieves debuting fifth on the Japanese charts after shifting 54,000 units in its first week. Very impressive numbers.
