Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr and windows Yoko-Ono and Olivia Harrison are said to be "the shareholders" of the development team and have helped construct the characters, animations and vivid dreamscapes.
"They looked over all the characters, the animations ... they really kept us honest on whether we were capturing the spirit of the band as they were performing, which was a huge challenge for us," said Chris Foster, the games lead designer.
The Beatles: Rock Band ended up being one of our favourite things shown at E3.
