When we said it would take 5 years for Noby Noby Boy's GIRL to reach Mars, we did not "fail" (like one certain N4G poster claimed); Namco cheated.

Apparently, Namco multiplied player's submitted lengths by 765, speeding up the process. Essentially, it cheated, though undeniably in a good way. Which seems like it was actually quite a good idea. It'll be interesting to see if they maintain a similar philosophy for the next planets in the universe.

If there's an octopus on Mars, who knows what's on Saturn.
