I've always had a UK account but I have watched jealously my friends with US accounts buy digital games a lot cheaper than me. My question is, if I set up a US account and buy digital games through that account will I be able to play those games on my UK account if both accounts are active on the same PS4 system? Reason being I want to have all trophies on the same account.
If your US account is not set as your primary account, then any content downloaded from the US store will be locked on your UK account, as denoted by a lock symbol in the games icon. What you need to do is log-in to your US account, go into settings, select, 'PSN', followed by 'Activate as Your Primary PS4? and then 'Activate'. If you now log back in to your UK account, you should find that US content is now unlocked.
Not done myself yet but intend to try it with GTA5 at somepoint and use Amazon US.
