Just wondering what kinda downloads most of you guys are downloading from the PSN..

Anyone use any of those weird apps ?
what games are you downloading that are worth the cash..

I personally like the addictive stuff like fat princess... and I had to use the ps3 trick and put bust a move on there,,,
I wish I could put all the PSP UMD's I bought.. Sony should let us have a way to play those on the Vita,,,like an adapter for for the UMD's, we payed for them... but Im rambling,,,

What have you guys blown you PSN dollars on lately.?

So many good games man. As far as I'm concerned, all the following download only games are definitely worth the money (almost all of which have been free with PS+ if you've kept up with redeeming all the games each month!):

Luftrausers
Hotline Miami
Velocity 2X (and, as such, I assume the original Velocity Ultra)
FEZ
Guacamelee
The Swapper (free this month on Vita and PS4 so I'm guessing you already have this - definitely play it, it's very good)
WipEout 2048 (not sure if this had a physical release, but either way it's brilliant)
Entwined
Thomas Was Alone
Muramasa Rebirth (particularly liked this one - again, not sure if there was a physical release)

Quite a few of these are multiplatform, but I've played all of them on my Vita as well as PS3/4, and felt that each one held up just as well on Vita as in the console version. And as noted above, most of them were free on PS+ in the last year or so, so hopefully you'll have some already to give you a head start!

Edit: the only game that maybe suffered a bit comparatively was Hotline Miami, which I felt was harder to control on Vita. However, I'm not very good at that game anyway, so probably not the best person to give an opinion on that!

From 16/08/15 I’m going for sober for six months to raise money for the Princess Alice Hospice. Donations can be made here and anything you can offer is greatly appreciated: https://www.justgiving.com/Stephen-Butler5

Wish me luck!

I have a folder called "Weird Apps" The Wake Up Club was buggy, Calendar/Email just got a bit excessive with my phone/watch notifications, and the GPS is absolutely useless. I tried to get into Toro's Friend Network, Treasure Park, NEAR, and Ecolibrium, but found these to be very lonely.

My favorite simple Vita PSN games are Jetpack Joyride, Sound Shapes, Super Stardust Delta, and Flying Hamster HD. Since I play on both a Vita and Vita TV, I try to buy ALL my games digitally though since swapping the game cards is a chore.

TL;DR: Freedom Wars.

Try Duke Nukem 3D, it looks good on the screen for a vita game.

I've not been 100% sold on Freedom Wars yet, the controls don't feel quite right and the levels so far don't seem particularly well designed. I have only played through the training and the first few proper missions so far though, so I know I need to spend a lot more time with it before I can really pass judgement.

I completely agree that the controls feel odd at first. For me, not using the lock-on ability made a big difference. As for the rest of the game, I'm in love with all of it... design, story, music.. everything! I could go on and on (and probably will over the next few months) about how much I enjoy this game... but I'll leave it at that for now.

Another PSN game I forgot to mention was Plants Vs Zombies. Soooooo much content in that game! Great to pick up and play when you only have a short while.

As mentioned, Hotline Miami is a must. I honestly really like Farming Simulator. Like, it's clearly never going to be everyone's cup of tea, but I find it's a good time waster while doing other things like listening to a podcast.

Also, Sound Shapes is fantastic - especially the puzzles where you have to listen to a bar of music and try and recreate it. I love those.

I am loving Velocity 2X. Really surprised me. I'll play a little then keep going back. The variety of the gameplay is really enjoyable - switching from ship to platform.

It really surprised me too! I had tried it briefly when it first came out on PS+ and wasn't too taken by it, but I fired it up again the other day and blasted through the campaign in a couple of days, loving every second of it! Plan on going back to attempt the perfect medals one day, but I'm not holding out much hope for getting them all haha

Luftrausers is my favourite pick up and play on my Vita. While others get cycled due to memory card space, it is the one title I will never let budge. It is relentless at first but you feel like a BAMF when you take down your first blimp.

I also second the Freedom Wars comments. I also don't use the lock on feature because it drives me clinically insane. It is easier to aim yourself, jump off and try again if you miss aiming at a ligament than standing there waiting to get smacked in the face. Even with this issue though, I am enjoying the title just as much as the original Soul Sacrifice.
