Topic: More Vita ladies here?

Been a Nintendo fan for years, and I've recently added a Vita to my collection of handhelds. My first Sony adventure! I was pleasantly surprised, it's a great device and it has a huge library of games to play on it too. I'm not much into shooters or action games, but there's plenty of RPG to keep me busy.

I've played Innocent Life, a futuristic Harvest Moon, tried a bit of Sorcery Saga and now I'm starting Atelier Rorona. Any other lady gamers here in this forum?

Well everything related to Vita is a sorry State of affairs, but yes.... one can only dream of a world where there are as many female gamers as male ones

While I'm sure as a global percentage there's a massive imbalance, you'd hope that a place online where gamers congregate (like, here) that there would be more female representation.

@Dualwielding, well, I guess you'd be surprised at how many women gamers there are nowadays, just not always the same kind of games that guys play. Though in 3DS gaming, it's a better balance I guess then in the Vita. But no matter, I'm very happy to have finally gotten one!

That is true at times though I will admit when I was talking about Gears of War with a co worker of mine and another co worker of mine jumped into the conversation who was a female I actually got a kick out of it. It was nice to a female enjoying a game like Gears of War just showed me how far video games have come from being a niche thing.

@Tasuki I hope someday I find a woman who wouldn't look down on me for gaming, its hard because I'm older and living in a third world country right now

Don't feel to bad mate, I am single and been looking for that for awhile now and I am in America. Seems like every time a date asks me about hobbies that kills it.

Keep up hope, guys! I think I'm the oldest gamer here, and I play more video games then my hubby or daughter do. There really are lots of women who game, I have met several female friends on the Internet that way, and they range from teens to a lady of 69!

It's such a shame that there aren't more female posters on here, but I think this is a problem on gaming sites in general. I guess we just need to keep working hard to ensure everyone feels welcome, and things will sort themselves out!
