The frame rate statement shows the guy is an amateur, any back lit screen looks great in bright sunlight and I don't know anyone who plays 10 hour sessions on a Vita.
Great is not what I posted. The word "bad" would be a better option to the word I used. Don't edit my posts to make me look like an idiot @Tasuki. If you have a problem finding a comparable word try a thesaurus.
@Oi_Oi_Spanky: Thanks for you opinion, but if you have any concerns about how I mod posts please use a contact form instead of derailing threads. Again regardless of the word, please watch the language. That's all we ask.

I had the Day 1 edition, but the dog got it when he was a pup even tho it was sitting on the kitchen table. I then got the slim which cost $30 because I had a warranty. GameStop is amazing with warranties I buy all my systems from them just for that reason. Overall I liked the 1st one better because it felt better in my large hands, But I do like the better battery and USB charging which should've been standard on the 1st model.
I have the Slim Vita - when I bought it last year I was tempted by getting an original version for the screen and size but the better battery life and USB charger appealed to me more since it meant I didn't need to lug lots of chargers around when I travel.
I also have the PS TV which I think is ace (though I bought it for £20 which helped a lot).
Now I may be an idiot, but there's one thing I am not sir, and that sir, is an idiot
I have the standard black slim vita and a PSTV. The PSTV has a 64GB memory card and is just used to download games and help supply the power to my dualshock docking station.
I am thinking about picking up 2 back up Vitas, 1 this year and another just before they go out of circulation (some territories have stopped production already).
Does anyone have any insight on which model would last longer? I have invested way too much money into my vita to not have a back up (4 memory cards and 80+ games).

Original OLED model that I got years ago. Slim model never tempted me: slight battery life and design improvements aren't worth it considering the inferior screen the remodel comes with.
@Lzeon: Well, the original had Start and Select as two rather small oval buttons, while the slim one has them as two rather big circle buttons. Other distinguishing features are a silver outline around the system for the original, and for the slim a micro USB port instead of an exclusive one. Not sure if the slim supports 3G or not, it could be that you have the original Vita.
Mine has oval buttons and a silver outline. I'm guessing mine is the OLED model?
