What is your impressions on what goes on at this site? Is it very stable like people have been saying? I glanced over the articles and the only thing that is having a problem amongst other is regarding the vita.
We may all know it doesn't have a bright future, but why do we care what others are thinking about a product when you can practically enjoy the system without letting that person bother you. I hope this is the site that's ad hominem-free and doesn't cause any problems with others hopefully...

I've been on Push Square for over a year now and I've visited the site pretty much daily since then. The staff are always approachable and open to feedback, while some discussions can get a bit heated at times, they've largely kept a good sense of moderation to keep the site family friendly. And lastly I just want to say...welcome.

Aw, it warms my heart (and every other staff member's, I'm sure) to see people saying such nice things. It really makes our job worth the effort, so thanks.

As for not having an ignore function as being a mod here I can say its not really needed and at this point it would just cause more headaches for the staff. People asking us and crying that so and so is ignoring them that kind of thing. Also I feel that our members are mature enough that if someone is bugging them they can just ignore it themselves. Lastely if there is a problem there is a report button and I wick take it from there.

We all love the vita on here, we also like to see how well its doing as if it continues to underperform we wont get many bespoke games. The sites the best one for playstation / rpg / Japanese games and the reviews and articles are always fair, and based on gaming. And the staff as mentioned above are happy to help. Just take a look through the articles and if asked a question they respond. 9.5 / 10.

Not sure if you're just a Sony gamer, but I'd also like to point out Nintendo Life and Pure Xbox, the sister sites of Push Square. I don't frequent Pure Xbox so I can't comment on that site in particular, but NL and PS are places that I visit every day. Their reviews are always fair and top-notch, and their previews and news articles are just as excellent. I visit plenty of gaming sites, but these are the only two that I choose to be a community member of. Finally, their E3 coverage every year is amazing; very well organized when compared to plenty of other sites out there. I recommend these two sites to everybody.
My game library ranges from Mario Kart to Call of Duty to Tales of Xillia to Diablo 3 to Forza. To me gaming is about having fun - not blindly supporting only one company while thumbing your nose at "the evil other systems."

1) memory cards size and price 2) lack of first party support 3) it hasn't caught on with the general public. My advice would be to buy one, the catalogue is awesome and with psplus you obtain some classic games. A lot of ps1 and psp games are available on the store so if you missed them first time you can play them now. It also has remote ps4 play, so its a good companion machine.

I liked when Pushsquare had it's own opininon on everything. And now they need to lie or to make game's flaws look worse than they really are to be able to give mainstream score. It's funny when they give something as boring as Apotheon 8 and give 6 to Order 1886 or 7 to RE:Revelations 2.

We are all individual and like different things too therefore what someone rates as an 8 for example there is going to be someone that disagrees. Comparing the review of Apotheon and the Order 1866 is ridiculous. The review takes into consideration the price and category that both these games fall into - for an indie game at the price they are selling Apotheon, to the reviewer it is worth an 8 but for a full price AAA title, the Order is only worth a 6.

You both guys are too smart to understand me. Also, don't understand what price have to do with anything. And for smart people I also mentioned RE:R2.
I can't comment on either review as I haven't played either game myself. Maybe the difference is in things like how well 'polished' everything is - the delivery of the 'concept' etc. Maybe one feels smoother to play, less glitches or something. RE:R2 is also a serialisation - in other words only a single episode/part of the whole and in terms of costs will end up more expensive. Costs make a big difference - You don't compare a 200mph Supercar in the same way you compare a budget family car. If a Vauxhall Astra is reviewed as a 8 out of 10 it doesn't mean its like a Ferrari or Lamborghini that is reviewed at 8 out of 10. Indie/arcade games are 'budget' games and unlikely to have the same graphical standards, game content etc. They don't have the same money spent in development or same size of team involved either. If you were to compare all games without taking costs or into consideration, then it would be unlikely that something like Apotheon would score above a 3 or 4 but that would also be very unfair to expect these budget games to compare with some AAA blockbuster with massive teams and budgets involved in their development - something the reviewer takes into consideration. I believe that RE:R2 will be released on disc as a complete 'series' - all episodes combine but will cost more than Apotheon and has a much bigger team and budget behind it. Maybe we are smart enough to know the difference between a review score for an Indie and AAA game and understand that an 8 for an Indie is a lot different to an 8 for a AAA game.

I have both the oled version and the PS TV and I don't regret my purchase at all.
Oh just to let you know Hulu Plus is compatible with PS TV even though it says it is not on the PS store, just download right away, apply the update patch and you are good to go!

Fair point there has been a lot of debate about scoring, write ups, metacritic etc there is no right or wrong way to score - however I had an idea were the reviewer could put a price they would pay rather than a score. Ie) apotheon £5, the order £25, destiny £35 etc. But you do have to read the review before looking at the score.

Decent site, although i do wonder if they could do with an extra body or two for reviews. Simply with games being out for a while before reviews have taken place.
Motocycle Club was is an example off the top of my head. Doesn't take a genius to find out that it was a poor game elsewhere, but i do wonder if time constraints cause reviews to slip through the net at times.
Overall i enjoy the site and the fact that by in large the community is decent too... keep up the great work everyone!
