@Th3solution I really liked your reply, unfortunately he obviously came on here with an agenda and was not gonna listen to any reasoning.

@nessisonett Welcome to the forum!

We are now in a world of people being offended for other people who they think should be offended, who arent offended.

@JohnnyShoulder Thanks. It was all deleted by moderators by the time I came back to the site, so I didn’t see his reply, if there was one. I’m glad they got rid of it though; I don’t really care what his reply would be, honestly. The best course of action with trolls is typically to ignore them, but I needed to clarify the false claims he was implying about the US Constitution since I know the majority of people are British and European here.

The more popular the site gets, the more new users we have, the more potential for knuckleheads to be in the mix. It’s the price of success, I suppose.

I think usually the regulars here are civil and prudent enough that it maybe scares away most of the riff-raff. As such, I’m typically glad to see new users come to the forums!

@Th3solution Ah yes he did reply to you, don't recall exactly what he said, but it didn't make a bit of difference to his outlook to the situation. Not sure I totally understand the mentality of thinking it's OK to trash talk everyone. I was gonna say would you say those kinda things to a complete strangers face, but he strikes me as some one that would. I get banter and micky tacking, but there is a line you have to balance and he fell over it with no way back. PSN is a better place without him.

@JohnnyShoulder Agreed. Ah well, onward and upward.
I’ll let the thread return to its original purpose of new intros. 😄

@RagingFire_Fox Hello! Any friend of @Foxy-Goddess-Scotchy is welcome indeed! I’m sure she’s shown you around the place, but make yourself at home. There are drinks in the fridge.

@RagingFire_Fox A smile is the universal welcome but since this is a forum I uh, yeah, hi. Apparently I'm dreadful at welcomes so at least you know you're in the right place.

RagingFire_Fox

@Arugula Great to know I'm in the right place then!

@Th3solution Thanks for the welcome! She talks about this place a lot so I finally decided to check it out!

@RagingFire_Fox Hello! What's the collective noun for foxes? Whatever it is, we've got it.

Good job, Parappa. You can go on to the next stage now.

@Gremio108 Out of curiosity, I had to google. If the internet is to be trusted (and we know it shouldn’t ever):

“Male foxes are known as dogs, tods or reynards, females as vixens, and young as cubs, pups, or kits. A group of foxes is referred to as a skulk, leash, or earth.”

So, I guess we have a skulk of foxes? Or a leash of foxes? An earth of foxes sounds just weird.

@Gremio108 Trivia time, that's my cue!

EDIT: @Th3solution beat me to it

Our canine friends are referred to as a 'skulk' of foxes.

Other notable collective names for animals from the top of my head:

  • A parliament of owls
  • A shadow of jaguars
  • An unkindness of ravens
  • A murder of crows

Why do I remember this stuff and forget to swing by the supermarket on my way home from work...

@Th3solution @JJ-firl I like 'a skulk of foxes' very much. Today's challenge is to try and get it into conversation at work.

Good job, Parappa. You can go on to the next stage now.
