If you guys haven't seen NXT Takeover yet, it was AWESOME.

It really was.

Hey guys. WWF (refuse to call it WWE) was my thing back in the day, especially the Attitude era, that was a really great time - Stone Cold V McMahon, DX V Nation, Corporation V Ministry,    Mick Foley doing his thing, amazing.

Did you ever give WWE '13 a go? The main story focused on the monday night wars in the late 90's and had you replaying key moments and matches. Highly recommend it if you haven't!

I actually found WWE '13 more enjoyable then 2K14.  Am I the only one?

No more Shield... I'm legitimately sad.

Yeah, I was just going to mention this. I haven't watched WWE nearly avidly as I did in my younger years when it was still called WWF but I have to admit I found The Shield to be a pretty entertaining group, one of the few things WWE had done well recently and it seemed like they were really getting over with the crowd. Now that they broke up, I'm wondering what other fans think?

I thought the turn by Rollins could've been handled a little better, though the shock of it just happening out of nowhere was pretty good. And while it's always disappointing to see a popular stable break up, I do think all three of these guys could have great individual careers in front of them, provided creative books them right.

I'm more upset that they chose to have Seth Rollins be the one to turn and break them up. Everything about Dean Ambrose screams Heel so if they were going to do it he should have been the one.

Seth Rollins in-ring style is very exciting and hard not to pull for the guy so making him Heel doesn't make alot of sense.

That being said I agree with you all of them should end up being huge stars.

Thing is though everyone expected Dean, that's why they probably had Rollins turn his back.  I mean that only opens the door now as to why and how long has he been plotting this etc.  With Dean it would have been like oh ok we saw that coming.

@Splat

I agree that Ambrose's personality makes him stand out more as a heel but I think Rollins is the perfect guy for this. I know everybody is impressed by Ambrose and his mic work and solid in-ring skills and Reigns obviously has the strength to wo the crowd with his power moves but I've always thought Rollins is the star of the bunch. His in-ring skill is probably as good as anybody else on the entire roster right now and he's good enough on the mic that I think he can be convincing either as a heel or face. As @Tasuki, it was a shock to see him turn, so I think WWE made the right call there. And hey, we all know this is scripted stuff, so I still find it easy to cheer for Rollins. He'll probably end up as a face again before too long anyway, if he impresses as much as I think he can, the crowd will have no choice but to get behind him.

Dat heel turn. I'm honestly quite excited to see what comes next. Rollins replaces Batista as part of Evolution? New shield member? In fact, running with that, who would you guys like to see join the shield (if anyone)? Personally I think Ziggler would fill the agile boots of Rollings pretty damned well.

Some how I dont think they will bring in an existing superstar.  More then likely I think they will bring someone new in.

Not surprising.  I can't even remember the last time I have seen some of those superstars on TV.

Some of those people did have promise at one time. Either wasted because they kept violating the drug policy and some of them WWE just had no clue how to use. Too bad.

Well I know that Even Bourne violated the policy at least two times and JTG this is like the third time he left the company, the first time he and his tag partner at the time Shad I think his name were fired because of back stage problems in fact I think right before they were fired they were set to win the tag team titles but because of that they never did.  The second time was again because of backstage problems.  So it's not surprising that they got rid of them.

Teddy Long, Brodus Clay and Yoshi Tatsu it just seemed like they had no idea how to use them.  Teddy was big a few  years ago when they had him as GM for Smackdown but since they ended the whole Brand Extension angle it seemed they just didn't know what to do with him anymore.  Brodus had a good angle with that whole Funkasaurs angle but again when that ended they didn't know what to do with him and Yoshi I dont think they every knew what to do with him.  So again no big surprise that they cut them out.

I think Teddy Long is in his mid-60s now too. That's about retirement time for people in 'normal' professions and he's been there at WWE forever also so I guess that one's not surprising. He had a good run for the most part I thought but yeah, lately, not much.

Tasuki

@Gamer83:  Yeah I remember him back in the day when he was just a referee in WWE, and I think before that he was around in other wrestling companies so he had a good career.  Who's knows he himself may have asked for the release cause as you said he is around the retirement age.

He was in WCW, I think with Harlem Heat, but I might not be remembering that correctly. I know he was in WCW though.
