Topic: The Chit Chat Thread

Not sure how we all got to talking about our sleeping habits, but I'll join in. I need a lot of sleep or else I'm a highly irritable, on-edge man of fury. When I stayed up for E3, I actually felt half-dead after a few days. When it was all over I slept for 12 1/2 hours straight. Unusual for me, because I usually get up several times in the night to pee.

One of the greatest feelings is waking up an hour or two before your alarm, thinking that it’s time to get up and you realize that you have another 2 hours of sleep gifted to you. Feels so great. Like cheating death.

Then one of the worst feelings is getting up and fumbling through your morning, taking a shower, shaving, dressing, brushing your teeth, feeling exhausted but pushing yourself to go through your morning ordeal to get to work or school, then you wake up again and realize you just dreamt all that and now you have to do it again for real.

@Th3solution When I set my alarm, I wake up 5 to 10 minutes before it goes off. If I don't, I'll oversleep for sure. It's like I have this magical unconscious clock in my head that keeps perfectly track of time and wakes me just before my alarm goes off. I hate that sound by the way, so maybe that's another factor that's part of this.

Yeah I generally wake up before my alarm goes off. I can't always get off back to sleep however. Then only time my alarm woke me recently is in Wednesday after the football. It was a bit weird though and I didn't feel right all day.

@Get2SammyB Is pushaquare towers a real thing? I’m kinda confused at this point. (As in, is there an office you go to work at?)

@Jaz007 Ha, ha! I’ve wondered the same thing! I assume it’s a joke and there is like a regular office somewhere with some servers and computer stuff, but I like to imagine a large tower with the big “Push Square” logo in neon lights and Sammy has a corner office on the 45th floor, overlooking downtown London, where he sits and smokes cubans with his feet propped up on his ebony wood desk and throws darts at Phil Spencer’s picture on the wall.

I assumed you had to follow the second star to the left then straight on till morning to reach Push Square towers.

Push Square Towers, aka the Big Ben. What many don't know is the tower was actually named after the Push Square podcast presenters.

@Kidfried What many don't know is that the tower is actually called the Elizabeth Tower, and the Big Ben is just the name of the biggest bell in the tower

@Knuckles-Fajita Man, that’s awful. I’m very sorry to see this. Human beings can be horrible sometimes. I feel for you.
And also, the name Daxter for a dog is adorable. 😊

His name is Jak.

That means exactly what you think it means.

@Knuckles-Fajita Awh. They are beautiful. Jak is the black one and Daxter the white one? You now need a couple cats named Ratchet and Clank.

Yes Jak is the younger black Whippet x something, and Daxter is the older white Saluki x Greyhound x Sloughi x Whippet. Both under a year old though.

I'm a PS gamer at heart, hence the names XD

@Knuckles-Fajita I hope Jak is getting better. Where does he play- field, garden?
If anyone/thing hurt my dog I don't know what I'd do.

@Fight_Teza_Fight Daxter is the injured one He either plays with Jak in the garden or with their friends on their morning walk in the dog park.

If anything hurts my dog and I see em do it, I go on the warpath. They are my babies

My dog is the last to bid me farewell before work and the first to greet me after work.
