@kyleforrester87 Came out of Christmas with Death Stranding and Jedi: Fallen Order. Now just have to decide which to start first!
My backlog is an embarrassment of riches, for sure!
@Ralizah yeah it used to be Electronic Boutique which was a bit cooler, then it became Game. I think Game was already a separate company before it took over EB, I can’t remember. We had Gamestation for a good while too which was always a cool shop to go in actually, but then Game bought a bunch of them out before largely going under themselves. I wanna try Ring Fit Adventure!
A Christmas Story Pink Bunny Pajama Bear from Build A Bear from my Son
A picture of Titanic leaving The South Hampton Dock from my roommate.
A World of Warcraft 60 day time card from my Roommate as well
A $100 Amazon Gift Card from my son as well.
Hope everyone else got what they needed/wanted and had a great Christmas!!!!

Just got back in from four family days away, so it's a last-minute Merry Christmas from me, to anybody celebrating it (and a hearty Happy Holidays to anybody who doesn't).
@Tasuki Of all the presents I've seen listed hereabouts, the picture of the Titanic wins for "Most Unique Gift Item" and then some! What a neat thing to get; are you a big fan of ships, or just that particular ship? Or do you just like cool pictures of things?

@RogerRoger I have always had a fascination with the Titanic even long before the James Cameron movie. I remember when they found the wreck in the mid 80s. My father and I would read everything we could about the discovering as time went on him and I delved more and more into the history and the legend of Titanic. Even to this day I will watch documentaries on it when I come across them on tv and read books on it. I have various Titanic items from pictures to models to books etc all over my room. It just something that always fascinated me.

@Tasuki That's awesome, and therefore a great present you got today! I agree that it's a fascinating tragedy to explore; it's a shame that younger generations will immediately think of the James Cameron film, as I find the actual history far more interesting, as well (although it's been a while since I've studied it).

@RogerRoger I'm older than you and I've still yet to see that film! It's never really appealed to me and I kinda know how it ends, so I don't see the point in seeing it.
Life is more fun when you help people succeed, instead of wishing them to fail.
Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak and remove all doubt.
@JohnnyShoulder Personally speaking, the film isn't worth its reputation. It traded on the commodity of Leonardo Di Caprio's late-90s popularity and didn't do the actual disaster justice as a result, distracted as it was with its schmaltzy, cookie-cutter romance plot.
Since the boat's ill-fated history has captured our imaginations for over a century now, I think we're long-overdue a proper, more accurate modern film about it.

@RogerRoger titanic is one of my least favorite movies of all time. It came out when i was young and dating alot so every date wanted to go see it. I think i watched it at least 4 times in the theater. Thats a long, mostly boring movie to sit through that many times.
@RogerRoger Yeah that is what people tell me and it is not really enamouring me to watch the film with what I hear. Not the greatest fan of romantic films, they need something really special for me to even take an interest in them, let alone watch them.

@ellsworth004 Ouch, bad luck! When I was dating, the big film out was Casino Royale, so I think I got pretty lucky watching that six times in as many weeks.
@JohnnyShoulder Well, if you need something extra beyond a romance plot, then a big effects-laden disaster movie happening around it might be alright for you, then!

Happy New Year everybody. My 2020 was started by a bottle of Prosecco exploding in my kitchen. I'm personally taking that as a sign that it's going to be an extravagant year.
Good job, Parappa. You can go on to the next stage now.
