To be honest we'll just keep re-running this thing untill it's number 1

The cup will commence on Friday games will be randomly chosen to go into face offs, the game with the most votes goes through. There will be one battle per day. The game that loses still has a chance as to avoid elimination as after the first round all of the losers will face off again. But lose that time and they are eliminated. This is to avoid top games getting a tough first battle and going straight out. From there its round 2 and same rules apply. Hope that makes sense.

Anyone who hasn't put there top 8 games in you have until Friday. Make it so pushsquare peeps. Anyone can join in even if your new or old.

1. Morrowind (PC)
This game changed my life. It showed me an open world full of options and gave me full customization of armor. I thought the expansions were awesome and I spent a good amount of my life playing this game.
2. Metal Gear Solid (PSone)
Favorite series. First big game with a lot of stealth involved. Bosses are memorable and fun to fight. I remember my dad bought this game, didn’t like it, so he gave it to me. Turned out to be one of my favorite series.
3. Metal Gear Solid 4 (PS3)
Favorite series, 4th in the series and best of all MGS imo. Took the characters I already loved and made me love them even more. I have replayed this game many times.
4. Silent Hill 2 (Xbox)
Creepy and disturbing survival horror. This series made me think and made me uncomfortable as a kid. Now being an adult, and loving anything horror, this series has become a staple for me just like MGS.
5. Diablo 2 (PC)
First big multiplayer game that I played. Invested a lot of time into each class. Loved the brutality and bloodiness of the game.
6. Final Fantasy 8 (PSone)
This was my favorite FF as a kid and still remains to this day (with 7 and 9 being close behind). I thought the battle system and junctioning was awesome and I spent time messing with class builds all the way up until the last boss.
7. The Last of Us Remastered (PS4)
I didn’t play this game until it was released on PS4 but have to say I love it. Great cast and acting and was enjoyable to play from start to finish. Has the theme of survivalism that I love.
8. Shenmue 2
I originally had BG2 here but edited it with Shenmue 2. I thought this was a beautiful game and one of a kind. The characters were deep and so was the story and colors. Just talking about it makes me want to go back and play it.

Glad to see Red Alert made it through, didn't think it would make anybody else's top 10 but @star-lord put it in number 1! I wasn't sure between this and Retaliation yet somehow Red Alert was just better despite being the same game with less unit types and, crucially, way less skirmish maps. Weird!

Yup, it made it through last Tim as well. Good times building up lines of tanks ans those electricity defence thingys. The other games are gonna be facing off from tomorrow. Good times Pity more people didn't get involved but it will give us something to do. Come on streets of rage 2!!!!
