My house flooded yesterday, but luckily my game consoles were spared, however the humidity in the house is over 80%. How risky is it to run my PS3, PSTV, or Wii U in these conditions? Thanks in advance.
@Reanfan7 Turning then on isn't risky (I presume), may even dry them a bit. I'd be more worried about the discs themselves. If you can, move them to a drier place.
Yeah, if it's 80% humidity indoors, don't turn a single thing on. Haha.
Outside, no problem. It's getting on for midnight here and its still 40 degrees and 57% humidity.
I run all my consoles even when it hits about 50+ degrees and 80+ humidity. Never had an over heating problem and they aren't even in a well ventilated TV stand.
You should be fine. I've just finished a year in Vietnam and the humidity there is bonkers at times. My Ps4 and flat screen TV had no problems. Mobile phone too.
@Reanfan7 sorry to hear about the flood. Best advice would be sandbags and armbands. How's your home?
