I couldn't list all the games I have owned (not rented) pre 2001. I started gaming back in the 70's with Pong. Most consoles/computers I have owned have over 50 games each and some over 300games and a lot I can't even remember the name of. In the 80's for example, I was buying at least 2-3 games a week. I gave my son my N64 with around 50 games, my other son all my PS1 and 2 games but threw away several big cardboard boxes of games from the eighties and 90's when I moved into a smaller place. I can't even remember most of the XB360/PS3 games I own without looking let alone anything before that...
I do remember playing a lot of those on your list (Doom 64 twice?? LOL)

Why can't life be like gaming? Why can't I restart from an earlier checkpoint??

I had over 300 cassettes on the Amstrad CPC 464, 150+ discs for the Amiga, 50+ games on the mega drive, 50+ games on the ps1. Even now as a fully grown man (not as old as the legend @BAMozzy though) I have over 100 games away in storage not on any of the systems mentioned, 10 megadrive games, 25 wii games, 15 ps4 retail games, 128 disc based games In a cd folder (pc, xbox, ps1 etc) 30 DS games and 1 retail vita game. I really need another hobby.

It's always good to see a fellow Rush 2049 lover..
...hit ramp, extend wings, do 30 front flips, crash into side of building.......repeat, lol.
I actually don't remember too much about it (think I got it not too long before we got the PS2), but I remember getting some sort of Steering Wheel controller (with Pedals, as well) from my cousin around the same time.
It was pretty unwieldy, but I had fun trying to play it like that, lol.
Currently Playing:
Switch - Blade Strangers
PS4 - Kingdom Hearts III, Tetris Effect (VR)
Too many to even remember, heck I can't even remember what I had for dinner two weeks ago. Although I still have alot of them to this day too. Especially the expensive ones now like Final Fantasy III, Chrono Trigger and oh yeah this little game
RetiredPush Square Moderator and all around retro gamer.
I no longer own ANY of the games I had before 2007 since my parents forced me to get rid of all of them. I didn't even play anything from like 2000-2007. That hiatus made games THAT much more amazing tho!
Anyway, I actually used to write my own little mini-reviews for each game I played, and I managed to dig up the overall scores I gave them at the time here (some of which I strongly disagree with now):
SNES:
Donkey Kong Country (I got the bundle...and this was the first and only game I had for over a year) 5/5
Maybe if I was younger could remember what games I played but been gaming since the mid 80's so I have no idea. I could list the computers or consoles I have owned but not the games.
@themcnoisy: The CPC 464 - what a 'computer'. I bought mine instead of the Commodore, Sinclair or Dragon (remember that). I went through a number of joysticks - snapped quite a few - so ended up with the Competition Pro - a steel shaft, clear case Joystick that resembled the arcades rather than the aircraft fighter style with trigger and thumb buttons (and the sucker feet) because they kept breaking. I only threw away my CPC, joystick and boxes of games I had for it about 3-4 years ago - Along with a vic-20, Amiga 500, several old PC's/monitors etc. Most of my consoles went years before as it wasn't 'cool' for teenagers+ to have them. By the time the N64/PS1 era launched, I was married with Kids so could 'justify' buying them. Even though most of the games I bought for myself, I admit I did buy a few that I justified as for the 'family' - and we did have 'family' game times. When we had guests over, the amount of time we would end up playing games like Goldeneye until 4-5am was ridiculous. Funnily enough though, that was the era I moved away from Computer/PC gaming - still played the odd few - like Lemmings, Starcraft - even Doom (I think I have played Doom on just about every console/PC I have owned - except this gen so far!) - Even played Wolfenstein 3D before Doom (did you know Wolfenstein was around before it went 3D as a 2D side-scroller?). Wolfenstein is a great example of how games an re-invent themselves!

@BAMozzy: I actually had a cpc6128 with a tape player I bought separately. That played discs. Most 6128 games where £15 - the tapes £10. Made sense to buy a tape player. Discs were well quicker though.

@BAMozzy I had a CPC 464 it was a Christmas present thats was my first computer such happy memories and great games. Still got my Amiga 500 and 1200 not sure if it still works though as you are meant to replace the resisters after so many years. Monkey Island came on 12 dics from what I remember. First console was an Atari 2400 now that joystick was a hand killer remember getting sores on my hands from playing so much.
@dryrain: The Amstrad CPC464 was the first computer I ever bought myself. The first I owned was a Vic20 but that was a present and my dad owned the BBC Micro B - with the original Donkey Kong. I spent one night typing out a programme to play 'Snake' on my Vic20. I remember playing games like Centipede and Asteroids too - not on the Vic20 though. I did have Choplifter on my Vic20 but that was a cartridge - I know I had others in cartridge form but can't remember them now. I remember some games coming on a LOT of discs and some anti-piracy measures like where you had to type certain codes in from a big manual to play. I had an Atari with the short octagonal rubber stick that wasn't very comfortable after a short period - I am sure I had blisters from it (if memory serves me correctly). I played games on many different systems, I can't remember most of them, or what system I played them on....
I watched 'Pixels' movie and had a LOT of nostalgic memories from the games in that...
@themcnoisy: Cassettes were so much cheaper - most of my games were £2-3 - most of Codemasters games. I did buy a few that were £10-12 - mostly compilation tapes with 'Arcade' games on them - Ocean used to make a lot of great games. People complain about loading times now - they don't know they were born. On tape, you could start a game loading, go and eat, come back and it still wasn't fully loaded. Loading screens used to draw 1 line at a time too - nothing more annoying than getting almost to the end and then see the image start to draw incorrectly - meaning you had rew/FF the tape and start again...
How times have changed - people complain if their game isn't ready 10secs after turning on their console!!
