@ToddlerNaruto This is your computer http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c04398768 ? If yes than you should be able to take out the "Wireless LAN 802.11b/g/n featuring Single-band (2.4Ghz)" (look under Networking and click on the tab of the HP Support page I have above there you you can see just what it looks like) and put in a http://www.amazon.com/Tp-Link-TG-3468-Gigabit-Network-Adapter... in it's place.

It is not a X button... it's a cross button. Because they are symbols not letters.

Thanks EyeDeeNO76, you sir are my savior . I found a cheaper listing (same model), I'll order it as soon as I receive my 4th paycheck in the mail this Saturday ^_^.

Btw, is there anything I can do to open up slots on the motherboard? Or will I have to buy a new mobo and PSU etc?

@ToddlerNaruto Before you buy the PCI express network adapter it may be good idea to unplug everything and put the computer on a table and open it up armed with a can of air (Dust-off) and take a good look inside to see the amount room and location of the wireless network card installed. You may need to use something like this http://www.amazon.com/Syba-Gigabit-Ethernet-Controller-SD-MPE... given the computer has a expansion slot cover plate to take out and put the LAN plate in it's place or just run the RJ45 cable through some opening in the computer case or make one.
A new power supply unit, I don't think can and a new motherboard you may so well just put together or buy a new pre-built computer. You would have to cut the case to get access to connectors for peripherals ports like USB, PCI slots, audio and video outputs.
