Topic: Your dream PS5 launch game?

A new Silent Hill game made by a developer who knows what they are doing. I’d almost kill for this.

@futaba You know, P5 is my favorite game of all time, but I think P6 after P5: The Royal and P5S this year I think P6 would just be too much Persona given that's almost 200 hours of Persona 5 this year. Now a Persona or P5 fighting game to make it complete, I could go for that as a cool launch game, but P6 would just be too much.

I just want Casual / Cute / Cartoonish games on PS5. And must be in physical release.

9. The Sims 4 (Realistic body size but still looks cartoon in character design)

11. A Knight's Quest
12. My Time at Portia
etc.

I want Sony to drop some new killer IP. Make the next Mario or Pokemon. It's been a long time since someone dropped something totally new that really started a new major franchise. I want them to really really pull out all the stops, to make a single game that shows off everything the PS5 can do, but more than that, becomes the starting point for a major new IP that could one day rival long standing series like God of War, Mario, Grand Theft Auto, Pokemon etc etc.

I like and buy sequels and new entries for established franchises all the time. But brand new IP are fewer and farther between and it's been a long time since someone dropped something new that really took off.

The closest I can think of being, maybe, Splatoon or Horizon Zero Dawn. Maybe. But both titles have faded from popularity and there's been little inkling of more from either 'series' for a while.

@Heavyarms55 I'd Say That Theirs Been More Talk Around Horizon Zero Dawn With The Comic Book Series Coming Soon That May Lead Into The Inevitable Sequel.As For Splatoon That One Is Up In The Air

@Areus Ratchet and Clank would be a safer bet. Insomniac could do a Sly Scooper remastered trilogy. Again. Or go back to the Resistance series. Never heard of Tomba.

@Heavyarms55 If you want new IP just look at PSVR. Loads of it. As for HZD 2, yep Guerrilla are working on it along with a mystery second game, rumoured to be a shooter of some kind like Killzone or a new SOCOM game.

@JohnnyShoulder I Would Prefer Sly Cooper To Get The Crash And Spyro Treatment Rather Then a Remaster Like They Did On The PS3

I would love a Knights of the Old Republic remaster. That would make me drop my money right away.

@JohnnyShoulder I would like to see the Demon's Souls Remake as well. Bloodborne 2 is on shaky ground as From Soft and Miyazaki have more or less dispelled the rumors concerning the potential release of the game. Elden Ring, I'm sure, will, eventually come out for PS4.

@Draco_V_Ecliptic Yeah I'd be surprised if the Bluepoint game is not Demon Souls Remastered. Sony could technically release Bloodborne 2 without From and Miyazaki as they own the IP. But I still think it is highly unlikely.

@JohnnyShoulder I can't enjoy VR. Every headset I have tried is uncomfortable I suspect it's due to my eyesight.
