Topic: PS5 Trophy Sorting

Leading up to the launch of the PS5 I have been doing some cleaning up in my backlog. I've recently dived back into Velocity Ultra on PS3 and Dokuro on PS Vita. While playing on some of these platforms I couldn't help but recall the different trophy sorting options on these consoles.

The PS Vita arguably has the best Trophy Sorting feature from Sony directly. The Syncing is another issue but I'll let that pass. What I'm really getting at is the PS4 Trophy System. Why does PS4 only ever let's you view the most recently viewed game you've earned trophies for? I'm assuming they will carry this forward to PS5 because the mobile app and the My Playstation Web Pages are structured the same.

I really enjoy PSN Profiles and fully understand to enable something of that nature on the PS5 is most likely not in Sony's best interest. However, it would be nice to see a condensed version of that on PS5. Some of my favorite Platinum Trophies are buried at the bottom of my Profile.

Imagine this. When you Click Trophies on a Players Profile You see 4 Squares (PS5 Trophies) (PS4 Trophies) (PS3 Trophies) (PS Vita Trophies) > The last 2 could maybe even say (Legacy Console Trophies) so that there are only 3 Lists. Afterwards, give players the option to sort Alphabetically, by Release Date, by Franchise, etc. Sony could even let you pin 3- 5 of your favorite Platinum Trophies to the top of the individual console list.

The fact that I earned 10% trophies in Spleunky 2 is cool, but just because I just popped a Spelunky 2 trophy shouldn't default it to the top of my list. This topic may seem too specific at this point but I'm curious what everyone else thinks of Trophy Sorting and Customization for your profiles?

See you in the trenches on the 12th of November!

@ekhojustin I can't speak for everybody, but it was a rude awakening for my OCD when I realised that the PS4 wouldn't sort my trophy list alphabetically, like the PS3 and PS Vita had done beforehand.

After several years, I've become accustomed to the difference, but I'm always up for more personalisation options when it comes to individual profiles. This kinda stuff obviously means a lot to some folks (yourself included) and it should be a relatively simple thing for Sony to implement, so why not?
