@WebHead I dunno maybe take a break from it all for a few days or something.
Most of the news you can put a positive spin on, is it not necessarily all doom n gloom. I mean a delay to a game is a good thing, we are getting a better final product. Neil Druckman from ND said the similar delay to the first game was so important to how it turned out.

I have a feeling Sonys plan was to use the Olympics as a platform to boost from, creating a crazy mix of marketing, fun, sports and history. Hopefully they can pull it off.

@JohnnyShoulder I'm definitely using this time to try and clear through my backlog. It's only a couple of months to Resi 3 then another month to TLOU 2 so I'm more concerned if I have enough time to play what I have before new stuff is announced for the end of the year.
@BearsEatBeets I wasn't totally blown away by the RE2 REmake. The graphics were outstanding and the overall quality was high, but once I did a Claire playthrough I never went back to it with Leon. Nemesis was my favourite of the older Resi Evil games, but it will probably wait until later in the year to get it.
@Arugula A Plague Tale is currently on sale on the EU PS store, so I might get that when I get paid next week if nothing from my backlog sticks with me.

@JohnnyShoulder stop. I'm not killing myself over a console and know full well lives are more important. That does not mean I can't be disappointed if this comes into fruition. You really are not helping.
Certainly who is not wishing the PS5 reveal would be tomorrow? Chill out, it will happen when Sony thinks it should. Until then eveything will be fine fine fine as i got one hand in my pocket and the other is turning on my PS4.
@WebHead Calm down, I was only joking. Take a break from it, as I really don't think you are helping yourself by paying that much attention to all this. In this day and age you are hardly gonna miss anything when it does get annouced.

Should we be surprised by Sony's lack of communication? Not really, Microsoft are only releasing this much this early as they want to make up for all the ground they lost last generation and are playing catch up because they know as soon as Sony reveal something, the people will go to them, so Microsoft are trying to entice customers as much as they can early on.
Another point is that this is probably the biggest year in the PS4's life cycle, with a sequel to one of the highest rated games of all time in TLOU2, one of the most hyped games of this generation with FF7 Remake being a timed exclusive, and with a new IP from one of Sony and gamings most cherished developers, this is a year to remember and celebrate for all fans Playstation, so why will they want to take hype away from that when they have all the cards and essentially the entire poker table in their hands.
Should we be worried then about the lack of communication? Of course not. Sony will reveal something within the next 2 months in my opinion via a State Of Play to show some of the specs, features or exclusives.
Only if we don't get anything by late April will I start to get worried.
Yeah I think at this point there is almost no chance of an actual meeting. Events getting canceled left and right, companies pulling out of cons cause of Corona virus. At this point I wouldn't be surprised if GDC/E3 heck even the Olympics were axed. Personally I'd prefer a deep dive SoP vs a live meeting with the typical awkwardness that ensues.
