I'm very very tempted by FFIX had the PS1 classic on my Vita (which died while I was at the end of disc 2) but I think I'll wait til it's in a sale. got PES18, Destiny 2 and Everybody's Golf to keep me going plus South Park and Wolfenstein 2 on the horizon I womt be able to fit it in - I haven't even started Nier Automata yet and I've had that over a month

I've seen things you wouldn't believe

Project CARS 2 for me. Picked it up at EGX so it'll be going straight into my PS4 drive when I get home tomorrow.

Recently got titanfall2 when it was on sale and my god am i pissed that i didnt get it sooner! Havent had this much fun with a shooter in a long time.
Single player game is terrific and im having an absolute blast with multiplayer. I was always on the fence due to reading negative reviews. Need to stop paying attention to internet opinions.

psn - Gmork___ feel free to add me (ps3/ps4)

I've bought copies of Torment: Tides of Numenera and Pillers of Eternity on eBay shops so they should be arriving in the post next week hopefully. Wanted something to be playing alongside Destiny 2

@Gmork___ Welcome to the Frontier! I love this game and still play it online. They have added loads of modes and maps too for free so it's been well supported.

Just pre-ordered Danganronpa V3, really looking forward to playing the game! I also bought Everything last week, which is a neat little game.

@OutspokenHuman Ultra Despair Girls is a pretty fun game. It's incredibly creative and you can see when playing the game that the developers really put in a lot of love into the game. I mean, it is more or less a standard Danganronpa game but now with more actual gameplay.

It's actually quite interesting, since it is mentioned jokingly several times during the previous games that the series is not action games and that the creator would really like to make one within this universe, which is probably why he made Ultra Despair Girls.

Just ordered Mass Effect Andromeda for 20 euros after having played the demo for a bit and it was quite enjoyable. Going to keep my expectations low but I do hope I'll find it to be a fun game through and through.

@KratosMD Picked up my preorder of Danganronpa V3 today (^_^) and while I was browsing at the store I saw they did drop the price of ME: Andromeda to $29 new and $22 used. I might take the plunge for that price.

FIFA 18 today was my latest purchase, also pre ordered GT Sport. My next purchase after this, other than Assassin's Creed, will be PSVR. Quite excited to play more games on it. Had a go at EGX last weekend and enjoyed what I played.

Thanks to buy 2 get one free, I went to the local retailer and came home with Yakuza 0, The Last Guardian, and Gravity Rush 2. Yeah, sort of impulse buys since my backlog is overwhelming as it is. But I couldn't turn down the good deal and I'm excited for all three of these. I'll just put them in my queue.

The number of games I want coming out this month is crazy... I already pre-ordered South Park,WWE 2K18 and Dragon's Dogma. I also plan on getting Battle Chasers: Nightwar at some point but I'm not made of money.

There are a few more I wouldn't mind getting either...

@Splat This is actually going to be the first year I pass on a WWE game. Every year since 2K took overy the series I just get more disappointed. I wish they would go back to how the Smackdown VS Raw series was or even better yet the N64 WWE games.

Dishonored DE.
I still have the Goty edition for 360 and few days ago I decided to play it again before Dishonored 2 but it looked so blurry and lo-res that I thought my tv was dead. Found a retail copy for € 15 so now I'm sneaking again in Dunwall!

So my online retailer recently delayed the release of Danganronpa V3 from the 29th of September to the 13th of October and I thought, what's the point in waiting two more weeks when I can just cancel my preorder and buy it from another retailer that actually has the game in stock right now.

So now I got a mail that they'll refund me for the preorder and I have just ordered the game from another retailer for half the price (thanks to a gift voucher I have for that store) so now I'll be getting the game hopefully tomorrow and for 25 euros nonetheless.

Never going to preorder a game again after this mishap.

@KratosMD That's unfortunate. The very purpose of pre-order is to ensure you get the game at release and avoid the pitfalls of release day shortages. I have good luck with preorders usually.

@Th3solution The thing is though that I've preordered games in the past and most of the times they've been successfully delivered to me on release date. But lately that hasn't been the case (last year I got FFXV one week late, in August I got Uncharted one day after release and so on) so I'm just going to have to have patience and wait until I can see that the game is in stock and then I'll order it.

But hey, at least I'm going to be able to play V3 this week and not in two weeks when literally my next course will start, lol.

@KratosMD I usually buy my games from an actual "brick-and-mortar" store rather than online, but have had no problem with preordering online a few times as well. Sometimes online saves a little money. I had usually shopped around for who offered the best preorder bonus, but lately it seems that those bonuses are standardized across all retailers (ex. UC:LL where everyone got Jak & Daxter)
I guess as archaic as it is becoming, I actually enjoy walking into a store and browsing the games, soaking in all the adverstisements, chatting with the workers for a few minutes about games and comparing notes, and then leaving with game in-hand. And actually I often just go to the game store or electronics store just to look around with no intention to buy, perhaps hoping maybe to stumble upon a sale or see something that catches my eye.

@andreoni79 I did the same a week or two ago! What is your opinion on it?

I always liked the game world and gameplay, but I was ultimately a bit disappointed in how long the loading/saving times were in this Definitive Edition. You'd expect that on a PS4 (Pro even), they'd shorten those. I found it made the whole game a lot more cumbersome.

(By the way: I hate it when they call those packages 'definitive'. You just know someone's going to remaster this game again somewhere in the future.)
