Topic: What's your favourite button on the dual shock 4?

OK the most important question ever in the forums. What's your favourite button to push on the Dual Shock 4?

Usually associated with a fun action & I've always liked the feel of the shoulder buttons.

the Cross Button (and yes i said Cross NOT X because that's it's proper name)

and why because without it, we wouldn't be able to play the games at all, it's normally the button you have to press to even start the game

D-pad I think. It's pretty good. Indifferent towards all other buttons, they're just buttons after all.

It's gotta be R2. It makes you go fast, and you press it like a trigger to shoot dudes in the face.

X, because who doesn't bounce while walking?

Erm.. I dunno. Circle I think. I liked pressing it to confirm actions in FF7 and MGS, I believe Japanese games generally have this button as confirm and X as cancel, but it's the other way round in the west. Not 100% on that so maybe someone could clarify.

But there is something comforting about my old pal circle.

I only ever PUSH SQUARE.

It is probably why I have never completed a game since I came back to Playstation.

Other than that, I love the PS button, I like how I can leap out of the game when my wife is inevitably nagging me over not doing something (which I probably haven't done in fairness).

The ⬛ represents paper or menus

My favourite button is L1 as it usually hides the more in depth gaming mechanics like block to strafe in musuo games, tweaking kicks in pes, beam separation in Darius and dash in resogun.

@Mega-Gazz just wait until later in the month, I've already played the igc games, my backlog is dwindling and I've just spent my excess cash on a laptop so my input in the forums will likely suck. How about a thread on favourite seating positions for gaming, or best use of logos when loading games?
