@get2sammyb: Uninterruptible Power Supplies - they're basically a big battery you can plug devices into that will continue running if you're power goes down for a bit.

@mrobinson91: Got it, thanks! I guess if they're designed work with all electronics, then I'm not sure the PS4 would be any different to any other device.
@get2sammyb: I thought the same thing I thought this was a thread discussing how to mail a PS4.
@Rami10. It wouldn't hurt it but I have never seen the point. Their main purpose is so you can safely finish what you are doing and then shut down your PC properly in the event of a power outage. Mainly it's more useful for PCS especially if your doing schoolwork or your job is dependent on a PC. With that said though I guess it would be good if you live in a place where you have frequent power outages but for me they maybe happen once a year.
For a game system I just see them as a waste personally.

I've got family over next month and my dad's bringing me one that he had spare, I'm sure it will be fine with the PS4. We get random 2-3 minute outs every other day and I'm bothered about data corruption more than anything else (despite plus' cloud), because I don't really know what the warning means.
