Topic: There IS a 2TB PS4 Hard drive available!!

I know this is an old post but I thought I would update it a little unlike most of you not everybody lives in the U.S.A. where you can get bigger 2.5inch Hdd in any store off the street I for one live in the U.K. and the only biggest bog standard 2.5 inch internal HDD you can get in a store is 1tb so for most of us there is not a 2tb HDD available for the PS4.So try asking where the person lives before trying to correct them.

I am wondering about the Seagate Samsung SpinPoint M9T, 2 tb. Is it the one that has been discusssed in this thread? Does anybody know, 100 %, if it's compatible with the PS4?

got the hybrid 1tb from seagate love it i think that will be the last upgrade ill prob do ill just switch out games on the hard drive or unless ps4 allow external hard drives like the xbox one does.

I've just got the Samsung sea gate in April....it died last night I wouldn't recommend it at all...I'm now on a desperate hunt for a replacement...thank god for cloud saves!!

Two questions really I was looking for a hybrid 2Tb drive to upgrade my current 1Tb hybrid drive. Is there one available? I could not find one when I looked online. 2nd Question what do people think about using a 7200 instead of the 5400. speed drives? I have always stuck to the 5400 just because I did not know if the PS4 is meant to really support the 7200 speeds. Would it cause issues with power or over heating?

I know this is a while ago, but i would like to point out, 2tb is available for a long time in 2,5". But not the SSHD/SSD models. Though i've seen that now they should be available.

And that's why online stores exist I buy almost everything online, (if you search enough, mostly it's also cheaper, and not by a little, but by a lot)

Mines 2TB, just had to remove it's casing. It's simple enough.

I've had 2tb for a while, no special hacking just got the right size HD in 2tb.
