Topic: Technical Touchpad help?

So a while ago I had opened up my controller to try and fix my L3 because it wasn't clicking properly and the right stick since it did that thing where the camera moves left on its own (problems still persist though). I have a gen 3 controller (don't know which exact model as the words on the back have faded) but it had the blue bit behind the buttons on the front of the controller. When I was taking the motherboard part off the front shell, the touchpad and the white piece below it didn't come off smoothly and the button bit on the motherboard with the metal and rubber and a metal circle piece which (I believe) was stuck on the motherboard had come off. I had tried to place the circle back but it fell between the plastic and motherboard and I don't know how to separate them to retrieve it if it hadn't fallen out and gotten lost already. I successfully replaced the other pieces but the touchpad wasn't clicking anymore and it no longer functions as a button but it still works when swiping. This is kinda annoying as I can't remap the touchpad button to something else through button assignments and I haven't found something to replace it. I just wanted to know if those two pieces can be separated (the blue plastic bit makes me anxious) to get that piece or if there's somewhere I can obtain a replacement or if it'll even work if I get it back. If there's something like soldering required to fix then it's busted as I don't have the tools for that.

Thanks, for reading this lengthy post, any advice is appreciated.

Well, it all comes apart so if you just need to get a bit that fell out of place then you will be able to take it apart to get to that part..

Why not watch a YouTube video for some step by step advice, it’s not going to be easy over a forum, without pictures at least.
