I think the game glitched a bit while I was playing the last chapter (or it just reuses dialogue intentionally depending on the order in which you compete events), I had the Sonic/Shadow exchange several times... "Challenge accepted... although there is no challenge!"

He's such an edgelord! I may have to explore using him more!

@KALofKRYPTON Yes, whenever there's an alternate path in the story, you'll see pre-race and post-race cutscenes repeated so that you can always keep track, regardless of whichever way you progress.

Pity the main campaign isn't playable as a team, that would be great to run through as a trio. But alas we had fun anyway and personally obtained 2 Trophies! You are both really good at the game - I got so nervous trying to stay in first and that finish line missile shot was amazing actually, I stopped dead 2 yards from the chequered flag. I will get you back Roger Mark my words.

Good games chaps! It was fun dominating (completely, every race...) as the edgelord trio! We may have to get a Linkin Park soundtrack on the go for the next race!

I had a blast, guys. I hope my social anxiety wasn't too evident, or that it didn't make me say anything silly and / or inappropriate whilst getting all caught-up in the excitement of shooting you as you were about to cross the finish line (again, sorry). Playing online with a headset is still really new to me!

This morning, I went on and set a really slow Time Trial lap time for Wisp Circuit. I did drift-boost, but I didn't use the three Boost Wisps they give you. Got myself on the leaderboard, rank #5993.

You should be able to easily beat that and get the trophy you mentioned.

As I mentioned last night please don't apologise online gaming with members of the community is pretty weird at times as we kind of know each other already but have never seen or heard each other. But as regular posters we share an enthusiasm for gaming so when gaming chat may seem strange to your relatives, friends or colleagues - it isn't to us.

Let me know if there's any in-game notification about the time being beaten. It's something that was great in many a racing game (DriveClub, MotorStorm RC, WipEout, NFS).

Achieved 41.449 and sat at position 2747. What's weird is there in no friends option on the leader boards. Usually on leader boards you can shorten the time lists to friends only. That doesn't seem to be the case here.

As for the trophy, that's weird. Might be because it's Wisp Circuit, the "intro" course. Give me a couple minutes and I'll set slow times for a handful of other tracks, then message you on PSN when I'm done. One of them is bound to pop.

I've set a time of 36.446 on Whale Lagoon. Just about snuck into bronze and rated as the 1284 best time. Easily beatable.

I think there is a problem with the server it won't let me view the time when I set it. But then I have left the time trial menu waited and my time now shows. They really need to work on the online stuff.

Have a look around the UI for a poorly paced option to 'make it ****ing work'!

@themcnoisy Just noticed (and as mentioned on PSN) that my times are being put up on the leaderboard one race late. Kinda like that Two Ronnies sketch where they answer the previous question. I'm only registering on the leaderboards once I've raced each track twice in a row (quitting out, selecting it again, reloading). So perhaps try racing Wisp Circuit again; if not, I've set a time on Market Street which should be easy to beat.
