Topic: Street Fighter V PS4 Beta

I believe this begins this week. How many of you are expecting to get a code? I figured we could trade impressions in this thread.

I signed up for the European beta a while back, but no idea whether I'll be accepted. Fingers crossed, as I don't really want to go through the hassle of pre-ordering right now TBH.

Has anyone gotten their Beta codes yet?

I pre-ordered mine from Amazon.com last month but still have yet to receive mine while others have already had.

Emailed and spoken to a bunch people from Amazon and everyone of told me they were unfamiliar with the product's beta code.

Would appreciate it if someone wouldn't mind sharing a spare NA code.

@get2sammyb: Is EU different - do you have to sign up to be eligible for the Beta?

I think you might be able to get it by pre-ordering in the UK too, but there was a sign-up that you could do as well. To be honest, I'm probably going to have to investigate this a bit more - not 100% sure.

Ah, I see… I think there's no sign-up option for NA apart from pre-ordering it from certain retailers or via the PSN Store.

I signed up since I'm in the UK. So far no code though.

@get2sammyb: I know for a fact if you are in NA you can get one if you preorder the game through Gamestop or Amazon, not sure about other retailers. Not sure about Europe though.

@KingofSaiyans: Not sure… since I've got a friend who pre-ordered it back in March but he too hasn't gotten the code either. I've been reading online about people getting their codes literally within 30 mins after pre-ordering yesterday.

Just to let you guys know that I've just got my beta code. Think they are sending them out as we speak.

Just got email from sony...beta downloading and ready to go tomorrow!

I got my code from Sony today, too. The beta goes live at 2AM, I believe. We're planning to get some impressions from a player who really knows what he's doing, so you'll have something to read if you didn't get in.

I've got the Beta downloaded already to go tomorrow.

If you want to leave feedback directly, there's a survey available once you played the beta. You just need to sign in into PSN Beta site.

Tried to login, I get to the title screen press a button then keep getting unable to connect messages. Not to worried cause I expect this from a beta, but I am sure people who don't understand how betas work are getting upset now.

Anyone have any luck getting on? I got to the character select screen and then it crashed. Been trying for an hour now and haven't been able to connect.

@Tasuki: No, keep getting error code 21007 - Twitter posts from Capcom & Street Fighter assure people they're aware of the issue and are looking into it.

Ok well I am giving up for tonight hopefully tomorrow will be better.

Still not able to log into sf5...capcom have said they are extending the beta, so its not all bad
