Keep in mind that this is a family site and we do get people of all ages visiting the site.  Honestly there is no need to use bad language I am sure there are other words out there that can be used instead.

I know this is cliche to say,  but who cares? I mean why do people freak out over stuff like this,  it really doesn't affect Nintendo when people say things like this, no need to be their knight in shining armor. They wont 'kiss' you back.

You know that makes total sense.  That is a good question and I can't think of why people freak out over stuff like this.  So people want to be able to play Mario games on the PS4 it's really not that bad and honestly I heard of people wanting alot worst.

In response to Nintendo fans saying "I only buy Nintendo consoles for Nintendo games", I have some perspective I'd like to share, seeing as I'm also a big Nintendo gamer myself.

Personally, I love 3rd party games. I want as many to come to the Wii U as possible. The more the merrier! Ok, the thing is I also have a PS4, because, well, I know there are many 3rd party games I will want to play that will never come to the Wii U. So when a game like Assassin's Creed 4, Call of Duty Ghosts, Splinter Cell Blacklist or Watch Dogs comes to Wii U, I always buy the Wii U version over the other consoles, because I like the gamepad integration and (in some cases) Wiimote options. However, I understand that most 3rd party games WON'T come to Wii U, and I'm totally ok with that.

The reason I'm ok with it (even though I like those games) is that if I want to play them, I'll play them on PS4. I really actually DID only buy my Wii U for Nintendo games. Anything extra is a bonus, and I'll gladly take it. But I'd be perfectly content just playing 1st party games on the Wii U (along with the 3rd party exclusives, like Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate, ZombiU, Wonderful 101 and Bayonetta 2).

Now I know that there are many Nintendo fans that DON'T game on other consoles, so I do recognize I'm different that the folks you're probably referring to. About whom I will say this: I believe that many Nintendo gamers actually don't like AAA games, and really only do like Nintendo's style of games. Which is why they probably really don't care if a 3rd party game doesn't come to the system. However, there are many who for whatever reason, whether they be adolescents or the unemployed, do like 3rd party games, but can't afford a 2nd console. So they lie and pretend they're not interested, rather than humbling themselves to admit they want something they can't have.

It's hard to tell which are the ones that actually don't care about anything but Nintendo games, and the ones that do but can't afford another console (or refuse to spend the money) and therefore lie about their interest. As such, I always give the person the benefit of the doubt, since I believe there is nothing worse than accusing a person of lying when they very well may be telling the truth.

Hopefully this sheds some light on the subject for you...

Please, don't lump all Nintendo fans into one category by saying Nintendo fans in general "get mad". No fan of any system appreciates being stereotyped. Not all Nintendo fans think or act the same way.

In response to your post, yes, of course I (and I assume others) would love to see Zelda with the best possible graphics. Graphics aren't everything- I'd rather play a 10/10 on hardware half as capable than play a mediocre game in virtual reality. Nonetheless, better graphics are great. And PS4 has better graphics than the Wii U, so yes, it would be very intriguing to see the game's potential on the hardware. Just like it would be intriguing to see it on the Vita over 3DS.

On the other side of that coin, Zelda is a game which traditionally builds itself upon hardware-specific features, such as Ocarina of Time's 3D environment for the first ever analog stick, Zelda Skyward Sword for motion controls, Zelda Link Between Worlds for 3D depth perception, and Zelda U will presumably build itself upon the second screen on the Gamepad. So while the improvement of graphics would be nice, I think a lot of fans recognize the importance of the original hardware the game is built upon.

I imagine many of Nintendo's games running on hardware as powerful as the PS4 (or PC, or Xbox, because let's face it, powerful hardware isn't exclusive to Sony). It's a pleasant thought for how future iterations of Nintendo games will look in the future. Likewise, I also imagine how great it would be to play games like Final Fantasy 15 or The Witcher 3 with two screens, which is why I wish those games would come to Wii U. So it goes both ways.

There's nothing wrong with fantasizing how a Nintendo game would look on the PS4. Just so long as you don't act like the game is inferior for not being on PS4, because unique hardware is the trade off Nintendo fans get in exchange for weaker hardware. Both are important, and both have something unique to offer. I'd love to see Zelda U on PS4, but I'd hate to sacrifice the groundwork of two screens the game is built upon in order to achieve it. Still, one can fantasize "what if it had both"...

Easy guy- I'm afraid you're gonna go postal on this dude any second now lol...

We all imagine what games would be like on other consoles. I've thought about what Zelda would be like on PS4. I've thought about what Wii Fit U would be like on Xbox One. I've thought about what Halo would be like on Wii U with a Wiimote (ala Metroid Prime style). I've thought about what Monster Hunter would be like on Vita. I've thought about what Final Fantasy 15 would be like on Wii U. I've even thought about what Portal would be like on 3DS. We've all had these thoughts. I think people get protective because they take it the wrong way.

Can't help it, only a corporate slave freaks out over the article that blew this whole thing up and I can't stand corporate slaves, even if their favorite company is Nintendo. It may be the most consumer-friendly of the big three but its still far, far from a perfect, saintly organization. Play games and enjoy them on whatever system you like is what I say. But you don't have to go around slamming people for saying stuff like 'it *would* be cool if (insert name of franchise) showed up on (insert console name).' Especially when the key word there is would, nobody said the games should or will come to PS4, just they think it'd be nice, nothing wrong with that. Then we get these corporate clowns coming in and flipping out saying 'wah wah wah, want the games buy a Wii U.' I hate when people do that, and I hate when the Sony and MS butt kissers do the same.
