@Elodin I don't understand how people could cheat on PS4, though?

EDIT: Sorry, I should clarify, I absolutely don't think that there isn't something fishy going on with scores like those, and wasn't trying to cast doubt on your reporting of suspicious activity. I'm talking in terms of my technical ignorance and not being able to understand how somebody would go about achieving those scores on console in the first place. Apologies for any confusion.

@RogerRoger I don't know either. What also doesn't make sense is the low kill counts. If they manufacture points that fast they can constantly play a Hero. One would think they would be raking in the kill counts as well. Maybe the hack/cheat only works at the end of the match?
The only other incidents of online cheating i have seen are the easy duplicate item cheat from Diablo 3 with pc items ported and back during the Everquest days I saw a person able to teleport/blink around slowing killing a train of targets.

@Elodin The only other thing I can think of getting points for are kill assists and / or playing the objective, but both of those are a fraction of what you get for direct kills, so it makes zero sense.

It's a shame, but cheaters always find a way. Sorry to hear it's ruining Battlefront II for you.

I took advantage of the Double XP Weekend last night and played a huge chunk of this, to store up credits for the arrival of Count Dooku on January 23.

And I think I encountered a cheater / hacker. Either that or it was a very strange, specific glitch. Basically, across two matches of Heroes Vs. Villains, there was somebody who appeared in-game and was obviously, by far and away, the best, highest-scoring player... yet they didn't appear on the results screen, nor did they appear during the "walk-in" cutscene (their team only had three characters appear, yet definitely had four players). They could also spawn as any character, including those already in play, leading me to fight two incarnations of Darth Sidious at once. When they were selected as the target for round, they were listed as their original character, no matter who they were currently using. It was genuinely bizarre.

Because it might've been an honest glitch and I couldn't see them on the results screen, I didn't report them, but rather just quit out and searched for a different group after the two matches had cycled beyond Bespin. It could just have been that the servers were stretched because of the Double XP Weekend (there were no problems finding any matches at any point) but equally, it reminded me of the previous conversation in this topic.

Top Tip: don't try and fight two incarnations of Darth Sidious at once.

@RogerRoger yikes! I'm guessing it was just a glitch in the matrix. I didn't notice the 3x xp until late last night. I got a few matches in at least.

@Elodin Oh, was it 3x XP and not double? No wonder I was able to jump two or three levels per match! Thought I was just having a lucky day; I'm not usually that good!

Glad you were able to take advantage of it, however briefly. Do you have enough credits for Dooku?

@Elodin Cool. I'm short by 6,000 myself, but only because I caved and purchased two emotes for Boba Fett (who I've suddenly discovered after avoiding him thusfar). I'll use him to make up the difference.

Best of luck!

@RogerRoger yeah I've avoided boba as well. I don't have the Jet pack down quite yet. I need to finish Vader off first too.
