@Oscarjpc Streets of Rage 2 and 3 are great SoR 1 has amazing music, however the gameplay and graphics are a bit pants.

@Quintumply Ristar is ok. Without the nostalgia goggles on as I never played it originally, I cant enjoy it. Its obviously quality compared to other games in the Library but not a patch on some of the more recent platform games.

@belmont Super Hang On. The Megadrive version had a career mode which was really difficult but rewarding.

@kyleforrester87 the Switch is glued to my son. There no point in buying games for it unfortunately. It will be used for an ARMS machine at parties.

Ristar is decent. I played it when it first came out, but I much preferred Sonic 2 and Rocket Knight Adventures (arguably one of the best platformers of that generation).

Ive played all the games now! Woo hoo. Theres a solid 10 good games I would go back too, 10 games I wouldnt necessarily play again but can appreciate they are still playable. That leaves 30 games which are a complete waste of time.

All the Treasure games are really good; Gunstar Heroes and Dynamite Headdy are in my retrospective top ten. If I was asked before playing the collection, theres no way I would have recomended Dynamite Headdy but the rewinds really make it a gem.

The JRPGs absolutely stink. Only Shining Force 1 and 2 stand out due to the fighting gameplay and team balancing and levelling mechanics. The other included jrpgs are really bad compared to the great snes jrpgs.

Sonic Spinball is loads more enjoyable with rewinds, although the lag is strong in that one.

Golden Axe has aged really badly. And as a backup to the Streets of Rage trilogy, Alien Storm is the next best scrolling beat em up.

So yeah well worth the purchase price and the trophy list is pretty good too 👍

Some of the sound effects for Streets of Rage 3 are kinda off. Not a major issue but it does kinda bother me.

In my opinion Golden Axe is a very bad port because the arcade version is much better and it could have been much better on Genesis too, but I like it anyway, maybe it is just that I have a soft spot for this game but I really love it. It is one of my all time favourite games and I absolutely don't think it aged badly, except the ugly graphics of the console porting.

I have tried Dynamite headdy several times and it always gives me headaches, I just can't handle it. I have not even tried it this time, I think I will never try it again.

READ BEFORE BUYING. I've just had my entire challenge progress wiped out. 20 challenges. I had done 14 of them, turned it on today, all 20 of them sitting at 0 attempts. My saved data slots are still there to carry on my progress through sonic and shinobi but trophy progress and challenge progress reset to 0.

@LuckyLand try Dynamite Headdy now with rewind. Its really good. Ive also found that the rewind helped with the Alex Kidd Janken trophy!

I found the rewind becomes a bit too easy to use in some games though, actually making it harder in the Sonic games as it stops your flow. But definitely Dynamite Headdy really benefits from the rewind.

Does anyone know how to beat that giant crab monster with just your knife in the first challenge? I cant find a way to win.

Streets of Rage 3 is really difficult. I have only ever achieved the proper ending on the Japanese version of the game, however right now I am on my last continue on level 7 on the harder and proper Western version of the game. Absolutely brilliant beat em up, I just wish some of the enemies combo attacks didnt waste half your energy bar!

Platted the game and it was an awesome trip down memory lane. So glad we have moved on from the hard games of yesteryear but it was a blast!
