Hi,

I got an error (CE-37857-0) when trying to backup some files on to my external HD earlier today.

It said, "The USB storage device is not connected."

Tried using my FlashDrive but got the same error as well.

It was fine before and the last time I tried it was in February.

From what I have gathered from various sites including Sony's own forums is that you have to reformat your harddrive.

@Tasuki Thanks. I've already reformatted it once before to MS-DOS FAT32 so that it would be compatible with my PS4. Don't think I want reformat it again since I have a lot of other important files on it. Guess, I'll skip backing up my PS4 files for now until there's another workaround for it.

@Tasuki Ah, ok. I think it has something to do with the recent system updates (for the PS4 Pro) that's causing this issue even on the regular PS4.

@WanderingBullet haha I meant controller. I call it a pad, a shortening of paddle way back on the day.
