Topic: PS4 Remastered games DLC query

Hey guys,

So I'm going to be buying a PS4 very soon and to get started I wanted to get a few games from the previous generation which have been remastered for the PS4 (e.g The Last of Us, The Bioshock Collection, Assassins Creed Ezio Collection, The Resident Evil 5 and 6 remasters etc). As you've probably noticed these remasters quite often offer all previously released DLCs as part of the collection, I'm just wondering if the DLCs for games like this come with a one-time use code to access the DLC, or if it's all available on the disc (effectively meaning it can be playing whenever on multiple accounts). I want to get some of these preowned probably, so I don't want to fall in to the trap of one-time coded DLC already being redeemed by the original owner. Any information about this would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

@kmoore96 normally it's all included on disc, at least all the Remasters i have played it was

"I pity you. You just don't get it at all...there's not a thing I don't cherish!"

"Now! This is it! Now is the time to choose! Die and be free of pain or live and fight your sorrow! Now is the time to shape your stories! Your fate is in your hands!

There are usually all on disc. I own 'new at the time' copies of AC, Bioshock, TLOUS- none have codes.
The only game that I remember that used redeemable vouchers for its DLC, which was cross-gen was Dragon Age: Inquisition GOTY edition.

Most of the remasters have all the content on the disk, the only remaster that has dlc with doesn't come on the disk is that Bulletstorm one with Duke Nukem.

Remasters tend to have all the 'old' content on disc. Cross generational games that 'sold' DLC (like Battlefield 4 for example) will need repurchasing if you re-buy the game but straight up remasters of games that didn't get a PS4 release, if they say they are including all the DLC, tend to include those on Disc.

Of course there are possible exceptions but in most cases, when the developer remasters the game and the DLC content, its all bundled together. Sometimes Game of the Year versions will give codes to the DLC so be aware of that. You also may miss out on any 'bonus' or 'pre-order' DLC - such as the Duke Nukem in Bulletstorm.

The only remaster that I can think of that comes with a code is Dead Island Collection. The first game Dead Island comes on a disc but Dead Island Riptide comes as a code in the case. My friend made the mistake of buying a used copy of Dead Island Collection and of course the code for Ruptime was gone.

I own several remasters, Borderlands The Handsome Collection, Darksiders 1 and II, Sleeping Dogs, Tomb Raider just to name a few and they came with everything on the disc.
