Topic: PS4 offline multiplayer games vs. bots

I am thinking of picking up a PS4 and would like to play some games that feature a team death match multiplayer component (games like killzone shadow fall, call of duty, etc.)

However, I do not want to pay the PS+ subscription fee (I fully understand the value it provides) because I do not get to play regular enough to justify the $60 price tag.

I have been searching the internet and could not locate a list that states which ps4 games allow for an offline multiplayer bots mode.

Could the Pushsquare commumity please list some games that allow for offline multiplayer vs bots?

Any help you can provide would be much appreciated.

Call of Duty Black Ops 3 is the only one that comes to mind right now.

Yes it is a sad time for offline multi-player fps gaming or bots for that matter. On the bright side there are some good offline multi-player rpgs for ps4.

Killzone - but its pretty rubbish tbh.

Weird, other than that I cant think of any. We need timesplitters and unreal tournament back.

I believe Star Wars Battlefront offers an offline against Bots option. Obviously all the Call of Duty games do as well - Ghosts, Advanced Warfare and BO3 and no doubt Infinite Warfare will too - its been in the last 5-6 CoD's

BO3 has couch co-op for all modes (Campaign, Zombies MP) too in offline and you can create custom matches inc different difficulty level for the Bots.

Could anybody confirm Doom, bf4, bf hard-line, uncharted 4, or pvz 2 having offline vs bots?

I think I posted this video before on a previous thread but it is a pretty good explanation of why there are so few bots in games now.

Basically, from a budgetary concern, the money and hype is behind multiplayer not Bot matches. Developers would rather spend money on doing MP then MP with bots as well. Which is a real shame for gamers, I think, because these games now have a very finite lifespan, which is the finding of the video. I used to love Timesplitters and Perfect Dark bots!
