Topic: PS4 Camera?

I was browsing Amazon and saw that you could pick up a PS4 Camera for about $45. That said other then The Playroom I'm not sure what games use it if any? is it mainly just for SHAREfactory? I really don't know much about it.

Only dance central and the playroom use it as a main feature of the game I think. Alien isolation has a great use for it, where you can lean around corners and be careful of the noise it picks up Not sure about anything else.

Motion controls are rightly maligned due to the input lag, however wii bowling is easily one of the best games for parties ever. But they have now got a bad reputation.

I bought the camera but to be honest its not had a lot of use. The microphone part is used for speaking during gaming and also use some of the voice commands. I just wish more games used the camera and light on the controller. I guess it will come into its own once the VR comes out.

I think honestly when Sony came out with this it was to compete with the Kinect but since MS all but abandoned the Kinect with the Xbox One, Sony saw no need to further develop uses for the PS camera.

@Splat: I bought the PS4 camera the same day as I bought my PS4. I have only used the camera to sign in to my account since I have others logging into my system. I also have only used the camera for The PlayRoom & Just Dance 2015(bought this game because there was not a wide array of games 2 years ago). Besides for those uses the PlayStation Camera has not been of use as of yet. I will not buy the PSC as of yet until there is much needed use for it.
