BACKLOG

Hitman - This is going to remain on this list for a long time. When I play Hitman, I usually play a short session (explore a few opportunities / do an escalation contract / ...) and turn to another game. The way the game is set up this works perfectly (for me).

Ratchet & Clank - Started this one a while back and recently fired it up again. I forgot how fun it actually was so now I'm going to finish it.

The Sexy Brutale - A stylish puzzle adventure game that intrigues me. Bought it in a sale some time a go and looking to start it soon.

SP: The Stick of Truth

No changes here. Didn't buy any of the games yet because I bought a lot of games in past sales and I want to finish some of them first before I buy new ones. I did buy Stardew Valley but I'm going to play it on the Vita when it releases tomorrow.

Knack ﷼ - Ive finished part 2 and after part 3 Im done with the game. Its awful. My as well grab the trophy for the 3-5 boss.

Pes 2018 (master league trophies) ₪ - Done! I am 85% to the platinum with the hardest trophy out of the way.

Current backlog:
1) Yakuza 0

I've platinumed Bloodborne, so I can take that one off of my list. Right now I'm completely into Yakuza 0, while still chipping away at Mad Max. Someday I'll finish GTA V as well.

This doesn't so impressive on paper now, but I feel like I've been working pretty hard on my backlog this month. Oh well!

I like this goal-oriented approach to the backlog, lol.

• The Witcher 2 (had it since release in 2011...spending waaay too much time on it, but never finished it. I want to FINALLY play the Witcher 3 LOL)

@smelly_jr Mass Effect Andromeda. I loathe that game, there is no way on Earth I could play that again. Really good luck finishing it off.

I will have finished God of War tonight, I've stopped playing PES as it was eating into too much gaming time, and I've got Dark Souls Remastered coming this week.

Horizon Zero Dawn: Complete Edition - Feel like I missed out

@JohnnyShoulder fair one. I ended up teaming with a random just now and we won the first 3-0 no trophy and the second 3-1 and the trophy popped. The last team must have been fuming they went 1-0 up and we literally obliterated them from that goal in the first half until fulltime. I dont think they had another shot. 87% only 13% to go.

@themcnoisy Yakuza doesn't feel like an open world game to me, though. The world is quite small and I'm usually way too caught up in a minigame of some kind to have it feel like it.

Only moments I get this open world fatigue is when I meet five groups of enemies on my way to the cabaret club for instance.

Also, this is my backlog but not the only games I've played last month. For instance I had a lot of fun reaching level 30 in the Onrush Beta, I finished Three Fourths Home, enjoy an online race of Trackmania every other day and I still am trying to catch all fish in Stardew Valley.

@Kidfried Fair. I love Yakuza, Im so glad it is around. Amazing news about 3,4 and 5 I hope they come West. Maybe we should change the backloggery to 4 / 5 games........

@themcnoisy Haha, I feel ya. I was disgusted by Mass Effect Andromeda at first (especially couldn't get over the planetfall sequence at the beginning with no one wearing seatbelts and lots of loose cargo mixed in with the passengers, LMAO) and put it away for several months after it initially launched. I've restarted it probably 20 times...it wasn't until Star Wars: The Last Jedi and the backlash that film got that I taught myself to not be so overly critical about "realism" and plot holes in Sci-Fi, and from that, I was able to FINALLY start enjoying ME:A, haha...

Also, shout out to the stiff controls and clunky 3rd person gameplay of Star Wars Battlefront 2 for helping me realize how good Mass Effect Andromeda's combat really is.

@themcnoisy I've hardly got any of the trophies for pes as i basically only play Master League and My Club, the former less so this season.
There will have to be a serious overhaul for me to get next seasons game, it was starting to do my head in towards the end.
Shame cos it plays a fantastic game of football just everything else stinks of fish.

@JohnnyShoulder Agreed. Master League is way worse than the PS2 versions. It is amazing when you beat that my club legend trophy though. Its one of the best trophies I have on PS4 for sure.

One game down on the backlog, yay! Also making good progress with Forgotton Anne. Tales of Zestiria started getting a little bit of a chore by the end but I stuck with it. Probably the weakest Tales I've played.

Updating after a month (an hour early; I'm keen).

1. Batman: The Telltale Series - The Enemy Within
Completed this pretty quickly after posting. It was fantastic; highly recommended to any bat-fan, or general fan of the Telltale narrative style.

2. Ratchet & Clank
Done and done. Lovely game, incredibly easy to just fall into and blast through. Stuck around and got the platinum trophy (my 26th) for my troubles, too.

3. Jak 3 and Jak X
Shh. We're not talking about these. Not yet, anyway.

I wasn't expecting to download, play and enjoy Rayman Legends at the beginning of May, so add that in after Ratchet & Clank. I also played and completed Tomorrow Never Dies on PSone to rebuild a lost save file. Whilst on the road and dealing with some family issues, I've started poking around on Star Wars: Dark Forces and Star Wars: Jedi Knight - Dark Forces II on a laptop kindly provided by my significant other, so I guess I should include them, too. Finally, I've given some time to Star Wars: Battlefront II over the past couple days, simply because I'm in the right mood and determined to get my money's worth before EA suddenly pull the plug.

All of my planned replays (Horizon, Uncharteds 3, 4 and The Lost Legacy, Rise of the Tomb Raider and Just Cause 3) are still on the table, but are joined by Mass Effect 3.
