Topic: Neverwinter -OT-

Didn't even realise this was on ps4 until today, going to give it a try in the morning. Tempted to try the healer class but will see what else is available.

@Tasuki: Aye, while you don't need PS+ to play the game, you have to be signed into a PS account to use the game. I just tried on a guest account - you get a message which tells you to sign into the PSN, or quit.

Friends are done through the main menu - social, and seems to have been delegated to your PSN friends list.

Edit: The Ranger Hunter seems terribly strong, so far. Happy with that.

@Shillll: Yeah but the thing is you don't have to pay for PS+ even though it's an online game.

Good to know how the friends thing works.

I went with a devoted cleric and then made a guardian fighter as a second character. The guardian fighter is a lot of fun, still a lot to learn though I think, especially as I have little experience with MMOs.

@Tasuki: Well, if you are friends with someone through psn, they will show up in your friends list "in-game".

Anyone interested in starting a guild???

@BodyW-outOrgans: Guilds are nice but honestly for me anyway starting on just demands too much work. The last few times I did in other MMOS it made me almost quite them.

anyone else not able to get on? servers unavailable? Neverwinter btw not PSN

@TomKongPhooey: I haven't tried yet (been playing Overwatch) appearently according to their Twitter they know the servers are down on PS4 and are looking into it.

cool Tasuki, cheers for heads up. Just glad it isn't just me. Don't have/do twitter or FB so never think of checking with them.

@Tasuki: Yeah, I discovered when I was on last night with some friends that it is also preferable to join and already established guild, as opposed to making one.

On another note - as fun as the game is - it is buggy as F. Seeing as it just launched I am hopeful they will get most of that squared away in the coming months.

I have Cult of the Dragon tunic on AH, current highest bid 30k AD's only 4 day's left!!!! If you get any of the loot from the world bosse's i'd recommend putting them on the AH they sell decent by the look's of thing's, I only put the starting bid at 10k AD on the off chance someone might bid Cosmetic item's seem to do well on most MMO's I just never expected it so quick with it only just coming to PS4.

I hit level 30 with my Hunter Ranger and still enjoying the game. The only part of the game I'm still kinda lost on is the whole professions stuff.

@Splat: Yeah the whole crafting thing threw me off too. I am not sure how it works in this game.

Anyone else having trouble getting stuck on the first loading screen when you start the game? I haven't been able to play the last two days because of it... It doesn't freeze the music keep's playing it just won't load?

@Splat: I honestly haven't tried, BO3 is having a double XP weekend. I know that Neverwinter posts stuff like problems their having on their Twitter account so you might want to check that.

I just can't get it to work. Very frustrating... All my other games work fine so I know it's not my PS4.

@Splat: did you try re-downloading it?

The temp fix is to create a second character and play through the tutorial. When you load into the main city, go to options and select change character and then pick your character that is stuck and it should load. If that doesn't work, they said to contact support and they'll help you out.
