Topic: Need help ASAP about COD: Modern Warfare

Hello gentlemens.

So i just bought ps4 slim 1tb bundle with call of duty: modern warfare, i was really excited to play campaign mode which i thought wouldn't require internet connection since i have limited data. But i gotta do 90GB first day update just to play anything. I wonder is it a normal size? im getting unlimited internet only on april 14th.
Trying to download it but it's so slow that it would took A LOT of hours.

@mantaspodlinevas If it starts updating when you launch it you can usually cancel the update (press circle?) and it'll launch the game, but you wont be able to play online or with the latest patch for single player if you do that. But at least you can play the campaign.

That is unless this download is essential to the single player, but i'd have thought it would all be on the disc.

Edit: or just disconnect from the internet and launch it?

But the thing is that i got a message "an update is required you must be online to play call of duty: modern warfare" and they wouldn't even let me play campaign mode until i do that update..

@mantaspodlinevas Looks like you do need the update to play single player unfortunately

@kyleforrester87 this is bullsh*t actually, why wouldn't they let me play campaign mode without this update, cd install definitely should be enough for that... I thought i will play campaign mode, and then on april 14th when i will get unlimited internet i will play other modes including warzone etc.
i'm so disappointed
