Yes, i have done everything required through settings including audio output, input, all audio and I have done all that can be done to get my mic working.
I have tried about 3 seperate pairs of apple headphones, which all have a working mic and still my playstation will not work. these headphones work on other ps4's so it could possibly be a problem with my internet or connection. my ps4 used to work with a mic, about a month ago all was fine, but now my mic does not work at all. I can hear everything in chat, but my mic does not pick up anything. I have been researching for a while and still i have found no solution, if you know a solution to this or can help me with even a slight bit of information it would be very helpful,
Thank you. (i have a ps4 slim)
If I had to guess, it’s most likely a problem with your controller. I would try cleaning it, there are videos describing how to clean it better than I could explain.

@daniel-29 Apple earbuds and Dualshock don't go well together. From what it looks like Sony is actively dropping supporting them, because there were too many issues with them. Buzzing, not working, etc. Same with Xbox, by the way. So it's definitely a problem with the earbuds and not Sony.
I read about a fix, though. But it only works with the older Dualshock controllers. You need to plug and unplug them really fast a few times. Again, only works on V1 Dualshock.
@Kidfried thanks for the information, but it turns out that the problem is with my controller as I have tried multiple different controllers. I will look into a way to fix this.
thanks.
