Topic: Life is Strange Episode 1

I know it's early doors (and I assume this title will be added with a store refresh around midday), but on the off chance anyone has had any time with this yet I'm interested to hear what people's thoughts are on it?

The general critical response I've seen so far seems to be positive, and what I've seen in the trailers has piqued my interest. I particularly like the sound of the rewind time mechanic as it's something a bit fresh in this genre, although I'm also a bit concerned that it could end up removing some of the impact from the story, as it looks like if you don't like how something pans out you're free to just turn back the clocks.

We got the game today, so no ETA on the review just yet, but it probably won't be long.

Just finished the first episoide. This is an early frontrunner for GOTY and story of the year. Really good despite having some pretenuouness and not being sure what type of indie film its supposed to be and an air of intentional pretentiousness.

Anything good for purchasing the season pass on consoles?

May try the demo and if I like it hopefully they'll bring a boxed release out.

This blew me away. I thought it was absolutely sublime. I can see why some people wouldn't like it, but it was pretty much everything I personally wanted it to be.

I don't have time to write a full post on this right now, but I might do one tomorrow. I thought it was just fantastic.

These sorts of reactions are exactly what I was hoping for. With any luck me and my girlfriend will find the time to play through this together at the weekend

My first impressions are still 'its trash' I'll wait for the entire thing to finish and read up on all the shenanigans before marking it off.

So, is everyone up to date with this? I finished Episode 3 last night... And... WOW! The hairs on my neck stood on end!

@get2sammyb: It's been some time since I played episode 3, but definitely blew my mind. Really impressive work by that team, making such a good story.
