Topic: How to create sub-account

I am looking to see if I can create a sub account under my paid plus account. If I do this would my son be able to play online? My friend said he did this for his son and didn't have to pay another $60. I'm confused because it seems fishy. Thanks

@cplank00 Yes as long as it's set up as a child account. I have been doing this since day one of the PS4 launch and my son can play Overwatch and CoD online no problem.

Any account you make on your PS4 as long as you make it a child's account and keep the age under 18 ( So even if the person is over 18 just put in a birthyear under 18 for example 2014) you will be fine. You can then set up parental controls to have them have access to various things like purchasing games playing M rated games etc. So for anyone above 18 just grant them permission that's all.
