I ran a search to see if there was an existing topic for this game, but their didn't appear to be any, if there was, I apologize.

Has anyone played this game yet? Is it good?

Also, is it possible to play it single player?

So I just got a mail from Sony about this game and it peaked my interest. First, it's releasing on the 22nd of November here which is great because I don't like waiting much for new releases. Second, its pricing will be 20 euros, which is honestly quite shocking to me. That's either really amazing or really bad, but for 20 euros I doubt that it will disappoint. And third, the game does have support for one player which means that I don't have to wait to get together a bunch of people if I ever wanted to play it myself at a particular time. And it is made by the Until Dawn guys so it sounds like it would be tons of fun. I will probably order it now so I can get it on launch, hopefully.

I do wonder though since it has support for one player if you can play the game with the DS4. Do you know anything about that, @get2sammyb?

@get2sammyb Yes, it shall be up on the site within the next few days! But to answer your question @KratosMD, the only way to play the game is through the smartphone app. There's no Dualshock 4 functionality, despite how well the touch pad would fit the game too.

@get2sammyb @KratosMD Yeah, the competitive mode has to be done on multiple phone screens to work. The single player could have been done just fine on a controller though.

@LiamCroft @get2sammyb Thanks for the answers! I would've hoped for more integrated support for one player but I get it that the developers wanted to keep the gameplay format consistent.

I just ordered the game now after looking up more information about it. It's really interesting how this game seems to be the first real 'interactive movie' game, as it uses other devices for inputs from multiple people, but also how it's only 2 hours long - roughly the length of a full movie! It's certainly going to be a great game to play with people considering it's possible to finish it in one setting (compared to e.g. Until Dawn) and it's going to be much easier to play through multiple times to get different endings due to its shorter length.

@LiamCroft Much obliged! I read it and the game does seem promising and varied with a lot of replay-value. The issue with input delay does concern me however, but I don't think that it will take away from the overall experience for me.

I actually got this game today so hopefully I'll be giving it a shot soon.

Just finished Part 1 and I'm really liking this so far. The story has me really intrigued. My only major gripe is having to use a phone instead of a controller. There's a couple of times already I've been a little distracted by it and it just feels odd having to hold it while watching the scenes play out.
