Welcome to the Helldivers official thread. I want to start by saying that I'm looking forward to this for quite a while now. The meta-game and stat-tracking as well as the frantic coop-action and tough-as-nails difficulty is what got me interested. Also, please not, as many seem to have overlooked this, it is announced for PS3, PS4 AND VITA.
Maybe we can setup a squad here and there and go hunt some bugs together!

I got a very short hands-on with this last year and wasn't sure what to think of it really, but I think this is going to be a great co-op game if you've got a few buddies. If it is indeed free with PS Plus as rumoured, then it could end up doing the game the world of good, as it should build up a decent online community that way.

This game is even better than I expected. Seriously, people moaning about the price tag?! It's a GIFT for that price. This game does so much right, almost feels like the "better" Destiny. Ha! I enjoyed todays session tremendously. FOR DEMOCRACY!!
I think @ShogunRok would be up for some matches, too. He mentioned earlier he was looking forward to the proper release so the servers were a bit busier, so may be looking for some bug stomping buddies.

I'm fascinated by all the little details. Strategically this game is DEEP. And yes, if you're purely going by gameplay/fun factor this game outshines many of the big ones by far. The levelsystem, weapon upgrades and general "flow of things" is so much more rewarding than in Destiny for example. I hope that this game is around for a very long time and we'll see as much content and new stuff as for Magicka!!

it reminds me off left 4 dead... no teamwork equals dead! I just love the fact friendly fire is on. No more gun blazing like a 13 year old kid in a basement playing it like call of duty!
Lol just came back from a session with @Reverend_Skeeve and @KALofKrypton, defending one of our homeplanets against Cyborgs. HOLY COW, never underestimate the Level 6 Difficulty lol. This. Was. Intense. Like you said @Sanquine90 Teamwork a 100% required. Love it. Also, we need to know all the enemy types better and how to best tackle them. Love it. It's hard!
