Not surprised by that outcome, it is Gamestop after all. Still baffles me with cases like this people still support them.

Final update btw, I successfully picked up my PS4 from Walmart today, was able to get there thanks to a helpful RL best friend I don't see much of anymore.

Hoping to have my PS4 setup and running by tonight, if all goes according to plan.

@ToddlerNaruto What an ordeal! GameStop must have been trying to flog non-existent stock, just to make sure they got through their actual stock.
Can't believe they charged you for the free gift card as well. If my GAME had done that, that would be grounds to never shop there again.

GameStop.com never charged me for the $200 PS4, only for the free $50 gift card.

Indeed haha...this is why I normally stick to Amazon/eBay and more trusted retailers like Walmart, Best Buy, Target etc.

I'll be starting off with Ratchet & Clank PS4, and then Kingdom Hearts 2.8. I'm playing the E/E10 rated games in my 91 PS4 game backlog first .

yeah i had similar problems with GAME in the UK and i never used them again, i just stick to Amazon but what gets me is that they keep doing this stuff and they keeps getting away with it, it's not right

Sadly big corporations are able to easily survive by making the issues go away or bribing/paying people off etc.
