I’ve been playing For Honor since it came to Plus and it’s awesome so far. The combat is thought and takes skill. You can’t button mash, it will get you killed so fast. The combos I’ve used so far feel like they have purpose and can make or break matches.
Duels feel like a fighting game that actually works on skill instead of mashing. The 2v2s are incredible fun with a friend. The extra tension from needing not have youe fight take too long for risk of ganking, the cheering when you or your pattern is the only one left, it’s incredible.
Breach is a really cool mode attacking and defending a castle.
I love how strategic maneuvering works since it’s all melee with no shooting. It’s a great and fresh dynamic.
So far I’m loving it and it’s one of the best Plus games we’ve gotten.
