I mainly made folders by game type, Sports FPS, Indie, Fighting and organized my games that way.

@ztpayne7 As far as I can tell, you'll have to go hunting for it if it's in a folder, but if you've just inserted the disc into your PS4, I think it jumps straight there.

Might not be the first thing you think to try, but you can put played PS Now games into a folder - saves having to navigate the wonderful PS Now UI for your favourite PS3 titles.

@Drawfull: Or in my case just putting those games somewhere so they stop cluttering up your screen from something you tried a year ago.

well that's what i said but i ended making one for Square Enix Games One for Downloaded games one for Anime Based games and one for all the PlayStation stuff i never use but can't delete like Playroom

Best way to organise folders is to create folders A,B,C etc....so for example create folder F and put in final fantasy 15 or any other game begin with F letter. In this way you can find fast your game.

That seems mad and I don't think would work anyway. How many games do you have installed? The folders don't stay in any particular order other than last used so you'd just have 26 alphabetical folders out of order.

I've just put all my installed games in one folder and sorted them in alphabetical order. I only have about 30 installed though.
